Recently, Lil Wop made some startling allegations against Kanye West, claiming that he received death threats from the Atlanta rapper.
Lil Wop, whose real name is Louis McPherson, is an Altanta-based rapper. He was born in Chicago in October 1995. He stayed in Chicago until his late teens and had already started working towards his music career by uploading some original tracks. In the early 2010s, Wop moved to Atlanta on the advice of one of his brothers.
He ultimately received fame with his self-released debut mixtape, Wopster (2016), which was followed by Wopavelli (released in 2017). Lil Wop became a Gucci Mane fan in the early years of his life after discovering this music through his cousins, according to an XXL interview he gave in 2017. He also got an ice cream cone tattoo on his face inspired by Gucci, as per an interview with DJ Smallz Eye.
Initially a member of Bases Loaded Records, Lil Wop was signed by Gucci Mane in 2017. With Gucci's record label, 1017 Eskimos, Lil Wop dropped Wopavelli 3 and Wopavelli 4. However, the rapper reportedly had a fallout, as Wop parted ways with 1017 Eskimos. He even dissed Gucci Mane in 2022 by calling him a “weirdo” on X that year,
“I’m Not Signed To 1017. I Got Out My Contract With Them In 2018. And I Don’t F*** With Gucci Mane He’s A Weirdo!”
Besides his professional career, Wop has made a few headlines due to his personal life as well. In February 2022, Lil Wop came out as bisexual but later identified as a straight man in another interview with DJ Smallz Eyes.
In August 2023, Lil Wop claimed that he dropped transition plans, but in January 2025, he corrected one of his followers for using the wrong pronoun. A couple of days later, bodycam footage of his arrest surfaced on the internet, in which he presented himself as a straight man.
In February, Lil Wop again stunned many on the internet by making severe accusations against the Donda rapper, Ye. Read on to learn about the allegations Wop made against Kanye West.
Lil Wop accuses Kanye West of harassment for the alleged deletion of a video

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, Lil Wop posted two screenshots of his alleged conversation with Kanye West on Instagram and X. He also wrote about receiving death threats from Kanye for not deleting a video,
“Constantly harassing me for no reason I’ve been sent death threats and etc…I never thought I would be going through something like this lol 🙄”
In the unverified screenshots, Lil Wop has received an X DM from Ye (@ye), which reads:
“I know you still have the video I told you to delete in your recently deleted if you could kindly send me a screenshot that the video has been removed or meet up so I can see you delete it.”
In the text exchange, Wop seemingly responded with,
“I told you already I wasn't going to leak the video after I sent it to you, I literally erased it out of my phone in your face I'm not even that type of girl so i dont understand why you keep harassing me about it”
It’s still unconfirmed whether the conversation actually happened or not. It’s worth noting that Kanye West’s X (formerly Twitter) handle is @kanyewest. At the same time, one of the screenshots posted by Wop displays Ye's X handle as "ye" instead of @kanyewest, which should have appeared with his current account name, Ye.

In a previous X post, Lil Wop wrote about having “s**ual encounters” with Ye and accused him of sending death threats,
“I Had S**ual Encounters With Kanye West & Now He’s Threatening To Kill Me Because He’s Scared I’ll Leak The Footage 🙄”
At the time of the writing, Kanye West has to respond to the serious allegations made by Wopster.
