On December 20, Lively filed an 80-page complaint against Justin Baldoni, accusing him of s*xual harassment and executing a smear campaign against her, among other things. In response, the latter's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, accused Blake Lively and Leslie Sloane of trying to tear down his public image instead of what she's claiming.

Blake Lively's publicist, Leslie Sloane denied Justin Baldoni's lawyer's claims that she planted stories about him in news organizations. Her statement comes in the wake of Baldoni's legal counsel allegedly preparing to file a countersuit against Lively.

Leslie Sloane is a renowned publicist and the head of L.A. operations of Vision PR. An influential individual, she avoids the limelight. She was also the former co-president of BWR (Baker Winokur Ryder), a PR firm that represented many high-profile clients. However, she left BWR in 2014 to start her agency, Vision PR, which was financed by Harvey Weinstein, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Her high-profile clients include names like Chris Rock, Blake Lively, Megan Fox, and many more. Sloane is also considered to be one of the most influential people in Hollywood. In 2007, the New York Post included her on its list of the 50 most powerful women.

Justin Baldoni's lawyer accuses Livley of "unethical behavior" and "media manipulation"

On December 20, 2024, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, her co-star, and director in It Ends with Us, accusing him of s*xual harassment during the movie's production. Lively alleges that Baldoni's behavior during the movie's production made her feel uncomfortable.

She also accused Justin Baldoni of improvising intimate scenes in the movie without prior consent, body-shaming, showing explicit images and videos of women to her, and entering her trailer while she was changing.

In response to this, Baldoni plans to file a counter-complaint after New Year's Day when courts reopen. As reported by Deadline, Justin Baldoni's legal counsel, led by attorney Bryan Freedman, has since refuted all the allegations, instead accusing Lively of the very same things. In a statement to the outlet, he said:

"I am not going to speak to when or how many lawsuits we are filing but when we file our first lawsuit, it is going to shock everyone who has been manipulated into believing a demonstrably false narrative. It will be supported by real evidence and tell the true story. In over 30 years of practicing, I have never seen this level of unethical behavior intentionally fueled through media manipulation.”

In response, Sloane told People Magazine:

"It’s clear that Mr. Baldoni and his Wayfarer Associates are suggesting that I originated press stories about HR complaints on set, which is false"

She went on to encourage people to read both sides of the complaint.

In the wake of Lively's allegations, several prominent figures have voiced their support, including Colleen Hoover, author of the book It Ends With Us.
