Lacey Von Erich, the daughter of the late American professional wrestler Kerry Von Erich, slammed Jeremy Allen White for the inaccurate portrayal of her father in Sean Durkin's sports drama film Iron Claw. On the recent episode of Investigation Discovery's docuseries Hollywood Demons, Lacey called out the movie on the grounds of inaccuracy.
Sean Durkin's sports drama Iron Claw was released in November 2023 and received positive reviews from critics. Not to mention, it also did quite well at the box office. The movie primarily focuses on the Von Erich brothers and their struggles during that time. However, according to Lacey and Kerry's brother, Kevin Von Erich, everything that was shown in the film about Kerry was not completely true and accurate.
Born on July 16, 1986, in Denton, Texas, Lacey Dawn Adkisson, best known by her ring name Lacey Von Erich, who is retired now, was also a professional wrestler. She might not be able to reach the fame and mass recognition her father received, but she did gain a certain popularity in the wrestling world.
Initially, Lacey was a part of WWE, but it was TNA that gave her the big break she was looking for. Lacey made her TNA debut on October 1, 2009, and was quick enough to join the TNA faction, The Beautiful People. Angelina Love, who was a big name in the TNA world at that time, was replaced by Lacey.
Lacey's wrestling career was not that long, as she was released from her TNA contract in November 2010. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, people backstage at TNA were not very fond of Lacey, apparently because she had no common sense. As per reports, some people claimed that besides her physical appearance, she had no other positive qualities.
During an interview with Wrestling Epicenter, Lacey dived deep into why she left TNA. She said,
“I only stopped because they were going to put the singles TNA Knockouts Title on me. They were going to make me the solo champion which meant I was going to have to head out on the road to the little podunk towns where there is only Applebees! And, I have a kid. So, I didn’t want to and I was about to get married. So I was on my way to the airport to go to the show where I was going to become champion. And I texted Dixie Carter, who is still a friend of mine, and I was like, ‘I’m so sorry. I don’t think I want to do this anymore. I don’t want to go on the road.’ I was like one of the only ones who ever was like ‘don’t make me champion! I just want to have fun. I don’t want to be the champion!"
Lacey Von Erich criticises Iron Claw for not portraying her father, Kerry Von Erich, accurately

As Lacey slammed Jeremy Allen White for portraying her father, Kerry, inaccurately, she also criticized Iron Claw in general for a bunch of things. However, it was the wrong portrayal of her father that bothered her and Kerry's brother, Kevin Von Erich, who was also on the episode of Hollywood Demons.
Lacey also mentioned that she and her sister, Holli Von Erich, were not a part of the movie as well. She further said,
"So how he was portrayed in the movie is so inaccurate that it was heart-wrenching."
