Actress Anne Hathaway seemed one of the happiest persons at the Super Bowl LIX 2025. After the Philadelphia Eagles became the NFL champions, the actress cheered in laughter with a green sweater wrapped around her shoulders. She seemed so excited that she put her hands on her head in amazement.

Other personalities present during the Super Bowl are Miles Teller, Bradley Cooper, and Kevin Hart, among many more. Nonetheless, her reaction has attracted comments from social media users and fans. One X user commented:

“Who knew Anne Hathaway was an Eagles fan?”

Social media users called her ‘queen’ while others complimented how she has aged.

“She looks so joyful, love to see it!” a social media user wrote.
“That’s our queen,” a person noted.
“She ages like fine wine,” a netizen shared.

Other X users pointed out that the actress needed more camera time during the Super Bowl.

“Anne Hathaway needed more camera time,” another X user pointed out.
“They should’ve just showed her every time eagles did something. I’m sure ALL of America would’ve appreciated that instead of those ridiculous camera pans to Swift last year,” an online commentator mentioned.
“This is an acceptable exhibition of beauty,” another social media user opined.

According to USA Today, fans also drew parallels between the clip and an old photo of Princess Diana wearing an Eagles jacket, playfully calling both "princesses" in a nod to Hathaway's role in The Princess Diaries. One post pointed out her support for the Eagles, calling her the "Princess of Genovia," a reference to the fictional kingdom from the movie.

Celebrities at the Super Bowl 2025

As per a report by ABC News, the Super Bowl 2025 got a major boost from various celebrities. Not only that, but President Donald Trump was also among the dignitaries present at the game. The media outlet mentioned that he is the first sitting President to do so. ESPN’s Kelly L. Carter said:

“The Super Bowl is the biggest cultural event of the year. You know, football is probably like the great unifier and you see people from the world of pop music, hip-hop, actors, actresses, social media influencers, all coming together to root for a team and in some cases, is just root for whoever the halftime performer is.”

One of the prime attractions from the game was Sylvester Stallone, who even declared his love for the Philadelphia Eagles in an Instagram post.

Bradley Cooper was present at the Super Bowl with his daughter by his side. Taylor Swift attended the event, presumably to show her love for the game and support her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Kelly L. Carter hoped Swift would perform Bad Blood with Kendrick Lamar but that didn’t happen.

Lamar, however, became the first solo rap artist to headline the halftime show. Player Serena Williams had a cameo appearance when he sang Not Like Us. Besides the physical presence of the celebrities, advertisements for the game were boosted. For instance, Ben and Casey Affleck’s Dunkin Donuts commercial.
