Who is Jacob Batalon’s girlfriend Veronica Leahov? All we know amid Spider-Man star’s engagement to architectural designer

Love is in the air for actor Jacob Batalon and his girlfriend, Veronica Leahov. The couple announced their engagement on Instagram while sharing some pictures of the proposal.

The news of Jacob’s engagement has come barely two months after the reported engagement of his Spider-Man trilogy co-stars – Tom Holland and Zendaya Coleman. Batalon will soon marry Veronica Leahov, a Moldova-born architectural designer.

It is unclear when the couple met or started dating, but Jacob and Veronica have appeared on one another’s social media posts on different occasions in the last few months.

Per her website, Veronica Leahov moved from Moldova to Belgium for studies. After studying in Belgium between 2014 and 2017, the designer shifted to New York City, USA, to get a Master's in Interior Design.

She initially worked with the NY-based Rockwell Group and credited David Rockwell as her “first mentor” at the firm. Leahov is currently working with Aaron Dussair, executive president at Pembrooke & Ives, another New York-based firm.

Veronica Leahov “can’t wait to spend forever” with Spider-Man star Jacob Batalon

The fiancés shared the news of their engagement on Instagram on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. The Spider-Man: No Way Home actor proposed to his partner in front of a heart-shaped arch made up of roses and lit white candles. Sharing a series of photos from the proposal, Leahov wrote,

“A lifetime of us!!!! I never imagined my heart could hold so much love and feel such depth of emotion. This is the purest happiness I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the love of my life!!💍♾️❤️‍🔥”

The Ned Leeds actor also shared some photos from his account and captioned,

“The beginning of the rest of our lives together.”

Jacob Batalon also dedicated Leahov an Instagram post on her birthday last year in November by writing,

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SOUL❤️‍🔥✨👸🏼you’re truly the most amazing person in my life and I’m thankful that I get to call you mine.”

He further added,

“You’re thoughtful, kind, smart, and funny as f**k🥰I just want the world to know how unique and special you are, this year is gonna be another amazing year of life! I’m so excited, and I’m looking forward to spending it with you and the rest of our future together.”

Veronica had also shared Jacob’s picture last year for his birthday and penned down a heartfelt note describing the actor as her “home.” She called him “caring and inspiring,” and mentioned how his love “completes” her. She wrote,

“To be loved and cared for so deeply is something I will cherish forever. I watch the way you love and care for everyone in your life and it makes my heart explode. Your love completes me, I love everything about you. Especially how caring and inspiring you are.”

Veronica Leahov continued,

“I’m so proud of you and your accomplishments, I’ll always be by your side cheering you on! Your evolution, your purpose, your heart have filled me with honor to stand by your side. // You are my home, I love you forever.”

Jacob’s Spider-Man co-star, Zendaya, attended the Golden Globes in January 2025. On the red carpet, she sparked engagement rumors by donning a diamond ring. TMZ also reported that the Challengers star got engaged to Tom Holland at the end of 2024.
