Jack Schlossberg, the only grandson of President John F. Kennedy, has recently grabbed the public attention for a strange online stunt involving actor-director, Justin Baldoni. He claimed on social media that he was Baldoni’s attorney in a legal dispute with co-star, Blake Lively.
Schlossberg made the announcement in a post on X (formally known as Twitter) that he was supposedly representing Justin Baldoni in a legal battle. He called Baldoni his "client," and said he was his "lawyer," and made dramatic and satirical statements about the situation.
The posts generated confusion, causing some news outlets to report the story as if it had been verified. TMZ even published a piece titled "Justin Baldoni Hires JFK’s Grandson Jack Schlossberg" only to take it down later, as per The Daily Beast.
The youngest of the three children of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, Jack Schlossberg, is also the only grandson of John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy Onassis. He graduated from Yale University and received a joint J.D. and M.B.A. degree from Harvard in 2022.
According to People magazine, Jack Schlossberg is a dedicated paddleboarder and environmental activist who has also worked in Japan and is a frequent political commentator.
Schlossberg officially became a lawyer when he passed the bar exam in 2023. But his legal career is still secondary to his role as a Vogue political correspondent, a job he stepped into in July 2024.
A Brief History of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's Legal Feud, amidst Jack Schlossberg’s comment
The on-set relationship between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, co-stars of the Colleen Hoover film adaptation, It Ends with Us, has sparked a legal battle lasting more than a month. Both actors have since sued each other for misconduct.
Lively claims Baldoni violated her privacy during filming, even entering her dressing room without an invitation while she was breastfeeding her son. Lively has also mentioned several other s*xual misconducts which took place during the filming, as reported by USA Today.
Her lawsuit also blamed Baldoni and his PR team for orchestrating a smear campaign against the actress. On the other hand, Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued, alleging that Lively had distorted the events.
He claimed that the text exchanges regarding Lively’s allegations were misrepresented by the New York Times. He also accused Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of pressuring his agency, WME, to sever its relationship with him.
