More about Luke Trembath's life and career
Luke Trembath was born in Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia. From an early age, he was engaged in various action sports, including BMX, surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. According to the Daily Mail, Trembath began snowboarding at nine and was nationally recognised at the age of eleven. At thirteen, he traveled with Team Australia.
Recognizing his potential, his mother moved with him to the United States when he was 14 to support his training with the U.S. team. In 2020, Trembath acknowledged his mother's sacrifices, saying:
"My mum quit everything had moved to the states with me so I could train with the U.S team."
By 17, Luke Trembath co-founded Grenade Gloves with Danny Kass, a company that manufactured snowboarding gear and related equipment. He later starred in the Fuel TV series, The Adventures of Danny and the Dingo, featuring his adventures with Kass.
In 2015, Trembath founded Find Your Grind, an educational platform. According to its website, the initiative aims to "provide every student with the tools and confidence to be Future Ready in this ever-changing modern world."
Luke Trembath and Kass also launched the UNLEASHED podcast for Monster Energy, alongside former UFC ring girl Brittney Palmer. The latest episode of the podcast was recently recorded live at the 2025 X Games in Aspen earlier this month.
Several athletes took to social media to pay tributes to Trembath, including Tony Hawk, Jaie Toohey, Kurt Busch, and TJ Lavin. Busch noted that he would "race in Australia with your Aussie Dingo spirit sitting shotgun."
Toohey acknowledged Trembath for making a "massive impact on along the way," while Hawk noted, "words cannot describe the joy this guy brought to every gathering," and prayed for him to rest in peace.
