Irv Gotti has three children with his ex-wife, Debbie Lorenzo, who are Angie Gotti, JJ Gotti and Sonny Gotti, according to a report in Distractify. He was married to Debbie for more than 10 years before they got divorced in 2013. Their relationship reportedly wasn't without difficulty, and it included rumors of infidelity, the report adds.

The couple first separated after news broke that Irv had allegedly cheated. According to the report in Distractify:

On a 2019 episode of Growing Up Hip Hop: New York, Debbie spoke about Irv's cheating. She also touched on Irv's 2000s relationship with singer Ashanti, but Debbie said she and Irv were already separated (though still legally married) by the time Irv became involved with Ashanti.

Debbie Lorenzo eventually confessed in an exclusive interview with Essence magazine that she had done everything she could to mend the marriage but at some point, she had to put herself first. She said:

"I had to set these boundaries for me so that when I move forward in any other relationship my boundaries will be respected."

Debbie and Irv remained co-parents to their three children after splitting. Their children have spoken of their upbringing, saying they weren’t pressured to pursue their father’s path in the music world.
