Annie Starke, actress, and daughter of Glenn Close (Golden Globe Winning actress), just wished international women's day to all mothers by recreating her mother's throwback pregnancy photo.
Glenn Close is an actress widely known for her versatile performances in movies such as 101 Dalmatians, Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons, and more. Her daughter, Annie Starke, is also an actress who has worked on Broadway and in films and hosts a cooking show.
On March 8, 2025, during International Women's Day, Annie Starke recreated a photo from when her mom was pregnant. In the photo, taken over 35 years ago, a pregnant Glenn Close is sitting on a sofa with her mother and bares her belly. Now, Annie Starke recreates this classic photo with her mother, where she and Close sit on a couch, with Starke showing her pregnant belly.
She shared the photos via Instagram with the caption,

What we know about Annie Starke.
Annie Starke is the daughter of the Tony Award-winning actress Glenn Close and a film producer, John H Starke (Close's ex-partner). The 36-year-old actress married Marc Albu in 2018 after about two years of dating, and the couple welcomed their first baby to the world in February 2025.
In 2018, Starke told People Magazine that she had a regular childhood despite having a three-time Emmy-winning mother. However, she also shared that she spent considerable time on film sets. According to People magazine, Starke has a degree in Art History from Hamilton College.
The publication further reported that though she always wanted to pursue acting, she tried something else because she knew about "the good and the bad, the crazy and the ugly" of the entertainment industry. She eventually became an actress.

She has also acted alongside her mother, Glenn Close, in Movies like Father Figures (2017) and The Wife (2017). In both films, she played the younger version of Close's character.
