On Sunday, 23 February 2025, Jodie Foster walked the red carpet for the 2025 SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards with her son, Charles Bernard Foster. Jodie wore a beaded burgundy gown, while her son accompanied her in a classic black and white suit complete with a bow tie.

Charles, 26, is Jodie's oldest son. She also has another son Christopher “Kit” Bernard, who was born three years after Charles in 2001. She shares both her children with her former partner, Cydney Bernard.

Judie and Cydney met when they both were working on the 1993 film Sommersby, in which Cydeny worked as a production manager while Foster played the role of 'Laurel Sommersby'; they split in 2008. Jodie is currently in a relationship with Alexandra Hedison, whom she married in 2014.
