Christopher Schwarzenegger, the youngest son of action movie icon and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver, has had a complete body transformation that is turning heads and making headlines.

Christopher, who was born on September 27, 1997, in Los Angeles, is the youngest of Arnold and Maria’s four children. He was raised with his siblings Katherine, Christina, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. He also has a half-brother, Joseph Baena, born from Arnold’s past relationship with their former family housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

Christopher graduated in 2020 from the University of Michigan, where he majored in psychology, but was denied the customary commencement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Arnold celebrated the milestone on Instagram, saying he was proud of his son’s accomplishments and resilience.

Christopher’s recent transformation has been a conversation topic of late, thanks to some new photos Katherine Schwarzenegger posted on Instagram to celebrate National Sibling Day.

According to Daily Mail, in the post, Christopher looked healthy and in many ways unrecognizable when compared to his past photos. His workout regimen began in 2020, according to family sources, who said he wanted to “get healthy for graduation.” He did so, according to reports, through harsh workout sessions and a healthier diet.

Christopher Schwarzenegger’s transformation didn’t escape the family’s notice. Arnold had previously talked about Christopher’s work ethic on Instagram, saying he has been focused on boxing, cycling, stretching, and weightlifting. His brother Patrick also noted the change, writing.

"Proud of you. New job. Crushing in the gym. Whole new person."

Christopher’s public persona is low-key and his Instagram account is private. Now he serves as the Vice Chair on the Special Olympics Founder’s Council and has previously worked with several sports psychologists.

Christopher Schwarzenegger has had several personal struggles, even in his childhood, including a serious surfing accident at age 13 that left him with broken bones and a collapsed lung.
