Brighter Days Ahead, Ariana Grande's new short film will debut on March 28 along with the deluxe version of her most recent album, thus extending her External Sunshine period. The movie will be directed by Christian Breslauer, a famous music video director who has worked with big names like Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Lizzo, and SZA.

Under Breslauer's direction, Brighter Days Ahead is anticipated to provide viewers with an aesthetically spectacular and emotionally captivating experience, carrying on the themes of self discovery, love, and grief that characterize Eternal Sunshine.

Renowned for his ability to combine powerful narrative elements with high energy visuals, Christian Breslauer has rapidly established himself as one of the music industry's most sought after directors. Throughout his career, he has worked with a variety of elite artists, bringing their visions to life with captivating cinematography and compelling storytelling.

Among his most well known creations are SZA (Kill Bill), Jisoo, a member of BLACKPINK (Earthquake), and Lil Nas X (Industry Baby). He is known for pushing the frontiers of creativity and producing highly styled, concept-driven videos that appeal to viewers all around the world.

Breslauer's standing in the business has been further cemented by his work on Eternal Sunshine with Ariana Grande. With the release of Brighter Days Ahead, Breslauer plans to advance his partnership with Grande by turning the album's visual narrative into a little movie.

The short movie continues the story of Peaches, the character Grande introduced in We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love), is carried forward in this short movie. Peaches checks into the strange Brighter Days clinic in the music video, where she has a surgery to remove unpleasant memories of her ex, played by Evan Peters. It is anticipated that the short movie would expand on this story, maybe examining the fallout from the memory-erasing procedure.

The short movie's design and ideas are hinted at in a teaser posted on Ariana Grande's Instagram.

"Welcome back Peaches."

is spoken in a computerized voice as a glass marble menacingly rolls in the direction of the camera. The futuristic and unsettling images imply that Brighter Days Ahead will explore the sci-fi-inspired themes she first presented in her earlier videos in greater detail.

Ariana Grande is making her directorial debut with this short movie as she steps behind the camera. Showcasing her ability as an ever-evolving artist.

The album became her sixth straight No.1 album when it debuted at the top of many lists, including the Official Albums Chart and the Billboard 200. Additionally, it gave birth to several successful singles, including You and We can't be Friends (Wait for your Love). These songs went on to become top-charting hits. Grande's reputation as a versatile actress was cemented when she received Oscar and BAFTA nods for her performance in Wicked.

The movie's soundtrack, which included her and Cynthia Erivo's duet Defying Gravity, was also a big triumph. Ariana Grande is now giving her fans even more with the impending release of Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead. The album's story and creative vision will be further expanded with the addition of five more tracks in the deluxe version.
