Brandon Graham, the longest-tenured player of the Philadelphia Eagles, has retired after 15 seasons. Throughout his career, he has won two Super Bowls with the team. While he always had his team by his side during the ups and downs of his life, he also had his wife and children, who supported him.
For the unversed, Brandon Graham is married to Carlyne Graham, who is a social worker and a psychotherapist. The couple shares their two children: a daughter named Emerson Abigail Graham and a son named Bryson Graham.
According to NFLRadar, Carlyne was born on February 5, 1986, and is about two years older than her husband. She was raised in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from high school in 2004. In 2008, she earned degrees in sociology and criminal justice from Lane College. After studying for a few more years, Carlyne got a master's degree in social work and child and family law from Loyola University.
Reportedly, Carlyne met Brandon Graham in the 2000s, and the couple tied the knot in 2014. They have been friends since high school. As Carlyne has spent a lot of her time helping the people of her community, Graham has always stayed by her side. The couple also started a non-profit organization called Team Graham, which provided young people with education and support to achieve their dreams. Carlyne serves as the vice president of the organization.
The mother of two hosts annual charity events along with her husband. Besides her community service, she also has experience working as a case manager and director of social services on her resume.
After pursuing her community service ambitions, Carlyne yet again proved her potential and became a licensed therapist. Before founding a mentor program for women called Carla's Circle, she worked at the Postpartum Stress Center for several years.
She is now dedicated to providing young women from Detroit with financial literacy aid.
While her professional achievements are impressive, Carlyne is also a doting mother and wife. She is not very active on social media, but her Instagram profile is filled with pictures of her kids and Brandon Graham.
Brandon Graham announces his retirement
On Tuesday, Brandon Graham brought tears to his team's and coach's eyes with his retirement speech. He mentioned how he came to the city and joined the Philadelphia Eagles 15 years back as a young man and gave "everything" to the team. According to the Inquirer, he added,
"I didn’t know how many times I would be tested. I didn’t know how much I would grow, and I surely didn’t know how deeply I would fall in love with these fans and the team in this city."
Graham further thanked everyone at the Eagles and also mentioned his wife. He said,
"To my wife, my best friend, my rock. Since high school, you’ve been on my side. You’ve been by my side. Twenty years of friendship, 11 years of marriage, and a lifetime of love. You are my greatest supporter, my biggest cheerleader, my constant source of strength."
Carlyne was seen sitting teary-eyed throughout her husband's retirement speech. In the end, Graham mentioned how the Eagles taught him a lot more than football. It also taught him how to be a leader and a friend.
