Ashley St. Clair is a Conservative political commentator, writer, and author. Clair claims to be the mother of Elon Musk's 13th child. Clair has previously endorsed Trump and is a longtime writer for The Babylon Bee, a right-wing version of The Onion.
American political activist Laura Loomer took to X on March 31 to post a video of Ashley selling her Tesla to make up for the money Musk allegedly didn't pay her for child care. Musk responded to the video, denying Ashley's claims that he "financially retaliated" against spending money on their son.
"I don't know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5 M and am sending her $500k/year."
St. Clair then responded to Elon's comments, saying,
"Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused. And you weren't sending "me" money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary...until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for 'disobedience.' But you're really only punishing your son."
Ashley St. Clair then went on to claim that Elon's last effort in court was to try to "gag" her while he used a social media channel he "literally" owns to "distribute derogatory messages" about her and their alleged child to the entire world. She also noted that it's "all about control" with Elon and asked him to "grow up" while calling him a "petulant man-child."
Who is Ashley St. Clair?
Born in Florida and raised in Colorado, Ashley St. Clair is allegedly the mother of Elon Musk's 13th child, a Conservative political commentator, writer, and a Trump supporter. St. Clair has authored two children's books, including Elephants are Not Birds.
Clair has exchanged tweets with X owner Elon Musk, and the two have taken jabs at each other. In an interview with The New York Post, Ashley alleged that Musk is not on their alleged child's birth certificate. Since then, she has filed for full custody of the child. In the interview, Ashley also mentioned that Musk "slid into her DMs" on X in May 2023, and she met him for the first time in San Francisco when she was 24.
In February, Ashley St. Clair announced news of her child on X, claiming that she welcomed a new baby into the world five months ago and that "Elon Musk is the father." She asked the media to honor their child's privacy and "refrain from invasive reporting" since she intends to "allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment."
