Last month, Ariane Bellamar’s ex-husband, Tanner Slaught, announced that the former Playboy model and reality TV star passed away in December 2024. Slaught also launched a fundraiser to get financial assistance for Bellamar’s funeral services.

Tanner Slaught, who raised two daughters with Ariane Bellamar, is reportedly a Texas-based businessman. He is an estranged son of Investec Real Estate Companies’ president, Kenneth “Kenny” Slaught. Tanner reportedly married Ariane Bellamar in October 2014, and the couple was sued by his father, Kenny, and stepmother, Elizabeth, in 2016.

Kenneth and Elizabeth alleged “libel, slander, and defamation” in their suit against Ariane and Tanner, seeking unspecified damages. Around the time of the lawsuit’s filing, the former reality TV star had targeted Kenny on social media. According to Trellis Law, the suit concluded with a default judgment.

Besides that, there isn’t much known about Tanner Slaught, who posted from Ariane’s account in January, announcing her demise. She was well-known for appearing in Beverly Hills Nannies, a show that shared executed producers with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Ariane Bellamar passed away after suffering a heart attack in December 2024

On January 24, 2025, Tanner Slaught posted an update from Ariane Bellamar’s account announcing that the former model/actress passed away on December 20, 2024. The post also revealed that Bellamar, who shared her two daughters with Tanner, suffered a heart attack. He wrote:

“Her extremely early departure from this world has caught everyone off guard and we were not prepared for this. I am working with Scott to provide Ariane and our daughters with a respectful ceremony for grieving their lost mother as a platform to start the healing process.”

Two days before making the announcement, Tanner Slaught and Scott Shelly, a fellow beneficiary, had launched a fundraising campaign for Bellamar’s funeral services. The fundraiser had two primary goals.

Tanner and Scott aimed to cover the travel expenses of Ariana's friends who were facing financial difficulties attending her funeral. Additionally, donations received from the fundraiser were also directed toward lowering the economic burden of the funeral from Scott and Tanner.

By the time of this writing, Tanner Slaught had turned off the new donations to this fundraiser. Before the donations were disabled, the GoFundMe campaign had raised $1,080.

For those unaware, Ariane was born in Florida and raised in a town near Toronto. She was 46 at the time of her death. She made multiple uncredited appearances in different projects, including Suicide Squad, The Hangover Part III, and more.

She was also seen in Beverly Hills Nannies as a part of the Bellamar family alongside her older daughter, Emma. As per her claims in 2016, she was also a part of The Real Housewives of Toronto but was terminated later.

Apart from Emma, Ariane also shared a younger daughter named Melitta with Tanner Slaught. Before marrying Tanner, Bellamar was married to Barry Pettit, a real estate mogul.
