Singer Anne-Marie is married to British rapper Slowthai. Anne took to Instagram on February 20 to announce the news of her pregnancy in a video with the caption, "Surprise." Her announcement comes after she and her husband went through their "hardest year." For the unversed, Slowthai was cleared of r**e charges in December 2024.

In the post, Marie can be seen wearing an oversized American football jersey, lip-syncing on her song, "Don't Panic." At the end, she holds her belly, revealing that she is pregnant.

Anne-Marie and Slowthai started dating in 2022. In 2024, it was revealed that the couple secretly wed in June 2022. They also share a daughter named Seven.

In December 2024, Marie shared a post after her husband's acquittal. She captioned it as:

"2024 the most beautiful yet hardest year of our lives. God really tryina see how strong I am hahaha. I miss you all and I love you all more than you’ll ever know. I have SO MUCH for you in the new year that you’ll probably be sick of me (please don’t be 😅🤣) have the best break if you can and see you soon ❤️❤️"

Allegations against Anne-Marie's husband Slowthai explored

Grammy-nominated British rapper Slowthai was accused of r**ing two women at a house party after his gig at Bullingdon, Oxford in September 2021. However, last December, the rapper was found not guilty.

He was seen bursting into tears at the Oxford Crown Court as the verdict was announced while Anne-Marie was seen sighing.

Prosecutor Heather Stangoe accused the rapper and co-accused Blake-Walker of meeting a group of women before the show and giving them VIP tickets. Stangoe claimed that the two later met the women on the tour bus, and went to one of the women's houses.

It was alleged that Blake r**ed the first woman after Slowthai encouraged him. The rapper was accused of r**ing the second woman twice at the encouragement of Walker. Stangoe claimed that the women were "isolated from their friends", and then r**ed and s**ually assaulted on the roof while the accused high-fived and joked.

Slowthai claimed that it was consensual. The two women reported the incident to the police on the same night, and the rapper and Walker were arrested and interviewed. The musician was also removed from the lineups of Glastonbury and the Reading and Leeds festivals.
