The late Stephen "tWitch" Boss' widow, Allison Holker, is coming under fire for publicizing his alleged struggles with substance abuse and allegedly making his friends and family sign an NDA to be able to attend his funeral, Page Six reports.

The dancer and media personality recently made headlines for hard-launching her new boyfriend, Adam Edmunds, this past December. She first hinted that she found someone on social media this August 2024, US Weekly, reports, and one month after that, the two made their red carpet debut at New York Fashion Week.

Speaking with the magazine in September 2024, she reflected on her new-found love, noting that she found "such a great love and support system.":

"We understand each other and we’re so supportive of each other. He’s just someone that stepped into my life, and it’s been so beautiful and lovely.”

As for who he is, Adam Edmunds is an entrepreneur from Utah. He studied accounting at Brigham Young University, and by 2003, he earned his master's in accounting. Soon after that, he made his foray into entrepreneurship, though by December 2020, he became the CEO of a software development company, where he works to this day, People Magazine has reported.

tWitch's family accuses Allison Holker of fabricating stories to ruin his reputation

Days after Allison Holker sat down for an interview with People Magazine, where she reflected on tWitch's alleged substance abuse and his death by suicide in 2022, one of the departed's cousins, Elle, took to X to give her two cents:

"She won’t let our family see the kids. He wasn’t an addict. He smoked weed and was actively trying to quit. He wasn’t some junkie."

In another post, she accused Holker of fabricating the allegations that tWitch used "weed and mushrooms and some pills," noting that she "didn't specify " the names of these pills. As for the "weed and shrooms….I get we may have different opinions on it but she’s framing it like he did METH or something like bffr."

In yet another tweet, she asserted, before accusing Holker of making tWitch's friends and family sign the NDAs to be able to witness his funeral:

"I’m so tired of keeping my f–king mouth shut bro. You did our family so mf dirty. “Yeah idgaf about an NDA. This crazy woman made me and his actual family including his mother sign an NDA just to even attend the funeral. She’s been trying to tarnish his legacy and refuses to let the Boss family see the children. Only to exploit and LIE on my cousin. Hell no.”

Allison Holker and tWitch shared three kids, Weslie, 16 (whom Boss adopted), 8-year-old Maddox, and 5-year-old Zaia.

Candiace Dillard, the Real Housewives of Potomac alum, also took to X on Tuesday to echo the sentiments, noting:

"I’m not even gonna say it. But this white woman is doing everything BUT protecting her Black children and her Black husband‘s legacy. She could’ve kept this in her therapist’s office. SMH."

She was retweeting a post from People Magazine, which claims that "Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' Widow Allison Holker Discovered His Drug Addiction in 'Very Scary' Moment Before Funeral."

When someone in the comments section argued that it could be possible that Allison Holker's "intent is to make people aware of mental illness/drug abuse, recognize the signs and eliminate the stigma," she responded by saying:

"She could've just easily taken this story to Essence or Ebony where care would have been taken to share such a tragically intimate story of a Black man's plight against himself... She could’ve gone into the Black church and called Creflo or TD to help her tell this story. She’s telling the story for herself and not for her husband or her children which I think is the wrong course of action."

During her interview with People Magazine, Allison Holker shared that she became privy to her late husband's struggles only after stumbling upon drugs, which she says were mushrooms, pills, and "other substances I had to look up on my phone," hidden away in his shoeboxes weeks after his demise.

"I was with one of my really dear friends, and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral," she shared. It was a really triggering moment for me because there were a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I did not know existed. It was very alarming to me to learn that there was so much happening that I had no clue [about]."

Allison Holker and tWitch got married in 2013, following which, the latter adopted her daughter from a previous marriage. The pair eventually welcomed two more children, but in December 2022, tWitch was found dead. He died by suicide at the age of 40.
