A TMZ report has revealed shocking revelations about Aaron Goodwin’s marriage. The outlet revealed that the Ghost Adventures star’s wife, Victoria Goodwin, had allegedly plotted to have him killed. She was reportedly arrested on March 6, 2025, and is still in police custody.
Aaron Goodwin’s wife, Victoria, is a fitness enthusiast and a golfer. Raised in the San Fernando Valley region of California by her Salvadoran father and Irish-German mother, the 32-year-old played golf in high school and college. However, she couldn't go pro as she was diagnosed with achalasia.
The Warner Pacific University alumnus spoke about her sports career during a chat with DJ Ashley Platt on her podcast – Motivational Talks with Ash. The collegiate golfer appeared on an episode titled “Victorious Victoria,” where she told the host,
“After high school, I went to college on a golf scholarship. So, that was pretty much my whole life. We golfed in the fall months. We also had spring training. And even in the summer, it's not like I would really take summer off. I would always be working out, golfing... All the things I need to do, because I knew this is what I wanted to do. And not toot my own horn, but I am a very good golfer.”
During the podcast, she also told Ashley about switching to the role of a golf coach and working at her alma mater. Victoria revealed that she was diagnosed with achalasia in 2015, which forced her to stop pursuing a professional career in golf. She also talked about suffering from C-PTSD while receiving support from her family.
Aaron Goodwin’s wife, Victoria, allegedly plotted his murder with a Florida inmate
TMZ reported on the arrest of Victoria Goodwin in connection to accusations of a murder-for-hire plot. The arrest report accessed by the outlet revealed that police discovered text exchanges between Aaron Goodwin’s wife and a hitman, who is currently imprisoned in Florida. This discovery led to Victoria’s recent arrest on charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
According to TMZ, Victoria had allegedly planned to have Aaron Goodwin killed in October last year. When his wife reportedly contacted the alleged hitman, the 48-year-old paranormal investigator and actor was filming with his co-star Zak Bagans for Ghost Adventures.
Per police reports, she had intended to pay him $11,515 for the murder. Authorities also told TMZ about the inmate, who messaged another person regarding the plot,
“He's asleep right now in the hotel room ... I need to know what's going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?”
Authorities claim that Victoria had already paid around $2,500 in advance. According to the outlet, Victoria even texted the Florida prisoner about her marriage to Aaron Goodwin,
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”
She is reportedly being held in custody at the time of the writing, with her bail bond being set at $100,000. TMZ has also reported that she denied the allegations of hiring a hitman. She has proclaimed that she was “daydreaming or fantasizing” about her life without Aaron.
Refuting the accusations of plotting to kill her husband, Victoria has seemingly claimed to have no recollection of messages sent to the Florida prisoner, per the authorities. The 32-year-old mentioned having problems in her marriage. Victoria also contended during an interrogation that she thought the money she sent was for cell phones.
The alleged plot was seemingly discovered during an inspection by corrections officers. Authorities found and seized the phone from the Florida inmate and alleged hitman.

For those unfamiliar, Victoria and Aaron Goodwin have been married for over two years. They exchanged vows at the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland in 2022 after delaying it due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following Victoria’s arrest, Aaron Goodwin spoke to TMZ about being “blindsided and devastated” by everything that transpired. His co-star and associate Zak Bagans told the outlet that he is “trying to give him love and support” during such “an emotional time.”
