The 2024 MTV VMAs is just around the corner, and the highly anticipated music event is bound to play host to a night of incredible performances from artists like Eminem, Shawn Mendes, and Sabrina Carpenter, among others.

How to watch the MTV VMAs 2024?
The MTV VMAs will be held on Wednesday, September 11, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The event was originally scheduled to take place a day prior, but was plans changed as it coincided with the Presidential debate between the Democratic Party's Kamala Harris and the Republican Party's Donald Trump.
Fans at home, however, need not fret, as there are multiple viewing options. On cable, you can simply tune in to MTV at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT. If you're opting for a streaming service, you can check out the following: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, Philo, DirecTV Stream, and Fubo. You can also avail the free trial most of these services offer, allowing you to watch the event at no extra cost.

Who's going to set the MTV VMAs stage on fire?

Megan Thee Stallion will be this year's host, as well as a nominee herself, while Halsey is going to perform a song from her upcoming fifth album. Kravitz will be performing live for the first time in about twenty-five years, making a grand comeback to the showbiz.

As expected, Taylor Swift is dominating the list with a whopping 12 nominations, which include Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Video of the Year, and more. Add that to her 23 already-bagged VMAs and a staggering 60 nominations. She may even break Beyoncé's record- 25 wins as a solo artist- to make it big as one of the most successful women in the annals of the VMAs.
Post Malone is also in the running, coming in a close second with nine nominations. Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande and Eminem are tied with each having six nominations to their name. SZA and Megan Thee Stallion have five, while LISA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims have four. Other nominee's include Charli XCX, Jack Harlow and Kendrick Lamar.
