Zelig Williams, who was last seen on October 3 in his home in Columbia, South Carolina, per the Richland County Sheriff's Department, has caught the attention of colleague and on-screen legend Hugh Jackman. The actor took to Instagram on Thursday to call on anyone who has information about Zelig to "reach out to the local authorities,” and sent his wishes and prayers to him.

Zelig Williams, a 28-year-old dancer, works as an instructor. On October 4, however, he was reported missing. According to Entertainment Weekly, his mother informed cops that he had left home by 9 a.m. the day before, and 24 hours had passed without a peep from him, describing it as "out of character."

No updates on Zelig Williams yet, authorities reveal

The actor uploaded an image of Zelig Williams, whom he worked with on The Greatest Showman's The Man, The Music, The Show tour in 2019, with the caption:

"Please ... if anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Zelig Williams, please reach out to your local authorities. Zelig we love you and are praying for your safe return. Please pass this message on!!!"

According to Williams' mother, he would also be needing his prescription medication. Per People, Williams was last spotted near the Congaree National Park in central South Carolina, in his vehicle. His family initially thought he had met with an accident, given that an SOS alert regarding the same was sent out from his phone.

His aunt, Christine McLaughlin Barber, shared with the officials that Williams' friend in New York informed them of the alert, noting that they got it roughly 10 minutes after the dancer left his house. However, per the outlet, his car was found intact in a parking lot, just off of the national park on the Palmetto Trail, suggesting that a crash was unlikely.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott told WIS10,

"We’ve searched on foot [and] in the air of various locations. Other investigative techniques that we will use involving cell phones and some other things that I don’t want to discuss at this point.”
