Less than a few hours after Kendrick Lamar delivered his Super Bowl halftime performance in New Orleans today, Sneako declared Drake the "better" artist of the two.
The American media personality took to X on February 10 to upload a 3-minute video of himself ranting about why he thinks "Drake is better than Kendrick Lamar." He defended his statement by claiming that during Kendrick's performance, no one knew any of the lyrics to his tracks save for a few words from his diss track Not Like Us.
"When he did that Wakanda Forever performance, everybody fell asleep," he says in the video.
Sneako slams Kendrick Lamar for allegedly trying to orchestrate a BLM protest in the form of a performance
Sneako started off by saying he's glad that no one has to "pretend" that Kendrick Lamar is better than Drake anymore. He noted that while he doesn't care about football, he just watched the halftime show to "see the cultural shift happen."
"The only lyrics that the crowd knew out of all of Kendrick's discography was "A minor," he said.
He continued,
"People have never been more tired of the inauthenticity. 10 years ago, a Superbowl halftime show with George Floyd vibes would have received a standing ovation, because people didn't know what White guilt was yet. But in today's America, nobody wants to see a performance that's equal to a BLM protest, they want a dance."
He also referred to the moment the big screens showed "America's favorite sweetheart," Taylor Swift, in the crowds, and began booing her. According to him, the two situations were "the same."
"This is a clear sign of a cultural shift happening. Because at first, the invention of social media made it so that people were rewarded for pretending to be good people. Fake morality was championed so much, you could create a successful career off the back of dead black panthers."
He continued by saying that everyone in the country is tired of the moral gimmick and is seeing through the smoke and mirrors.
In the rest of the video, Sneako also reflected on Kanye West's account being gone from X once again, and he called on the owner of the platform, Elon Musk, to undo the same. Ye has been making a slew of heated comments and remarks in favor of anti-semitism over the last few days, and as of today, his account was deactivated.
However, Sneako claimed that Ye had not broken any laws and that it was extremely unique to find someone who could express themselves without worrying about being canceled, calling him "purely authentic."
