Songstress Megan Thee Stallion has revealed that her Pete & Thomas Foundation has helped about 8,674 people this year alone, comprising of students, parents, and seniors. In a post on Instagram, uploaded on December 30, the Grammy Award-winning rapper penned a heartfelt vote of thanks to her patrons and supporters.

"Pete & Thomas Foundation provides resources to effect meaningful and positive change in the lives of women and children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, TX and across the globe. The foundation’s programs are focused in the areas of education, housing, health & wellness, and community goodwill," the official website reads.

Megan Thee Stallion launched the foundation on February 15, 2022, her 27th birthday. The non-profit organization was created with a prime focus on "family, education, and community," the website states. It was established in honor of her late parents, father Joseph Pete Jr. and mother Holly Thomas.

On Instagram, Megan Thee Stallion penned the following:

"This year, the Pete and Thomas Foundation served over 8,600 students, mothers, fathers, and senior citizens. Thank you to our 102 community partners for their collaboration and continued work to support underserved communities. Shoutout to the Hotties, volunteers, donors and corporate partners. Your support helped make 2024 a year of growth and greater impact in the community!"

The caption was accompanied by a video of the highlights and initiatives this year, and it documented the collaborations between the foundation and other agencies, as well as efforts like awarding $550 microgrants to about 100 young girls via the #BlackGirlJoyChallenge. It also shared a brief recap of the Megan Thee Stallion Day, an annual event celebrated for the third time this year.

The video reveals that for the event, over "60 Hotties volunteered across the city, including renovating Literacy & studio rooms at Youth Education Town Center and assembling 500 Mother's Day care packages at AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse)."

In a press release, as reported by People Magazine, the Captain Hook rapper reflected on her intent behind launching the foundation:

"Launching the Pete and Thomas Foundation is easily one of the most significant endeavors that I'll ever be part of in my career. My family raised me to help others and give back, so I'm incredibly proud to be in a position to accomplish that goal. I have a responsibility to use my platform to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who may not have access to resources and support services."

For high-school students, the foundation has granted scholarships, supplies needed in schools, and resources to assist the students who need them most. In the housing facet, it aims to tackle the housing issues that senior citizens and single mothers confront.

Furthermore, it also takes on the impact of financial stress and natural disasters. In the health and wellness facet, People Magazine has reported that the foundation aims to assist those with cancer, mental health struggles, and food insecurity.
