Kristen Stewart reunited with ex Michael Angarano at the premiere of her movie, Sacramento.

The Twilight alum, 34, was spotted with her friends and co-stars Michael Angarano, 37, and Maya Erskine at the event, held on Monday night, April 7, at the Vista Theatre in Los Angeles. The trio can be seen posing for the paparazzi at the special screening.

Kristen Stewart and Michael Angarano dated in August 2005, back when the latter was best known for his work as Elliot in the sitcom Will & Grace. The then-teenagers met on the set of Speak, and they went on to date for almost four years. However, they eventually broke up in May 2009.

Sacramento is a road trip comedy that chronicles the tale of four friends taking a spontaneous journey from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The film was written by Angarano and Chris Smith, with the latter starring and directing it.

According to People Magazine, Kristen Stewart began dating her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson that same month, and they parted ways in 2013. She is now engaged to screenwriter Dylan Meyer. The two have been dating since 2019.

As for Angarano, he married Maya Erskine in an intimate ceremony in 2024, People Magazine has reported. They welcomed their first child, a boy, Leon Frederick, in 2021. In 2024, they welcomed a girl.

Just this past June, Angarano told Variety that he only wanted Stewart for the role.

“I’ve known Kristen since we were like 12 years old,” he said.

He noted,

"we did not write it with Kristen in mind. But you get a list of stars when you make anything that the people who control the money are interested in having be in the film. Kristen was obviously on the very top tier of that list. We knew she’d be great in the role and she’s a person who has a history of doing smaller films like this.”

He also told the outlet that it was the signs sprinkled around LA that inspired drivers to take a road trip to Sacramento, which served as his inspiration for the film, saying

"we had just been to a batting cage and we were driving back and we saw the sign and we just played a game of chicken."
He continued, "it was like, ‘hey, want to go to Sacramento?’ ‘Yeah, sure. Why not?’ And it became sort of an inside joke. Like what if you just picked a random place and went there for no reason at all?”

Michael Angarano and Kristen Stewart's film rolls out on the big screens across the nation on April 11.
