Dayvon Daquan Bennett, professionally known as King Von died on November 6, 2020. Von was an American rapper and gangster from Chicago, Illinois, who was also associated with the Black Disciples gang. Von was shot and killed in Atlanta, Georgia when he was just 26.

As per a video obtained by TMZ, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine says a ghoulish package was delivered to his Florida home Thursday. The package included a fake casket with the name 'RIP King Von' spray painted on the box.

A police report was filed and an investigation was processed before the package was opened since Tekashi feared the package could contain a bomb. However, the package was a big black box in the shape of a coffin with a bouquet and a pet box. The late rapper and Tekashi were known to have beef with each other before Von's death and months after.

While speaking to TMZ, Tekashi said:

"I'm pretty sad. I wanted to keep the King Von coffin and put it in my room, but the police had to confiscate it. I wanted to sleep in the coffin to feel waht it was like to be King Von for a day."

More about rapper King Von and Tekashi 6ix9ine's alleged beef

Rapper King Von and Tekashi 6ix9ine had an indirect beef due to Von's affiliation with Lil Durk, who had a long-standing beef with Tekashi. Von was murdered outside of an Atlanta hookah bar in November 2020. After Von was shot and killed, Tekashi trolled his death by making public comments on the late rapper, liking disrespectful comments on social media, and mocking Lil Durk for "not siding" for his longtime friend.

In a clip from a 2022 episode of DJ Akademiks' Off the Record podcast, Tekashi said that late rappers Pop Smoke, Von, and Nipsey Hussle were "caught lacking.":

"Was Pop Smoke a stand tall n***a? Was King Von a stand-up tall n***a? Was he lacking? So King Von is a solid n***a, and he got killed, right? So King Von died lacking. King Von died lacking! Nipsey died lacking! Pop Smoke died lacking!

After Von's death, Rapper Timothy "Lul Timm" Leeks was taken into police custody but the charges against him were dropped in August 2023, due to Georgia's "stand-your-ground" law.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) classified the shooting incident as an officer-involved shooting after two off-duty and one on-duty Atlanta police officer attempted to intervene in the incident.
