ASAP Rocky is going viral for warning ASAP Twelvyy against revealing the meaning behind the acronym "AWGE" during the latter's Friday court proceedings.

At the time, ASAP Twelvyy was being questioned by prosecutors about a photo of Rocky's bed that had the word strewn across. When asked about what it meant, Rocky interjected, saying, "Don't say!."

AWGE, which was launched in 2014, is a creative agency, and is responsible for having directed several music videos, including its founder, A$AP Rocky's Shittin' Me. AWGE has also produced music, launched a fashion line, and worked with brands like Needles, Marni Serre, and Mercedes Benz.

Everything we know about ASAP Rocky's ongoing court proceedings:

As reported by TMZ, during Friday's court proceedings, ASAP Rocky's outburst led to some tension, triggering the prosecutors to appeal to the judge to force the witness to tell the truth.

However, Twelvyy only revealed that "It means AWGE." When asked if he heard Rocky's warning, he denied it, noting he only heard a sound. Moments later, Rocky's attorney, Joe Tacopina, approached the judge for a sidebar.

TMZ also reported that in the end, Twelvyy never revealed the meaning of the acronym. The creative agency's website also fails to give away its secret, seeing that it states:

"Rules: #1 Never reveal what AWGE means. #2 When in doubt, always refer to rule #1."

As reported by Complex, speaking with the New York Times in 2016, Rocky revealed that the secret behind AWGE would likely never come out:

"The first rule of AWGE is don't ask questions about AWGE," he said. "No one needs to know what the letters stand for. We know what it is, and that's how we want to keep it."

ASAP Twelvyy, who was being questioned about the night Rocky allegedly shot ASAP Relli in LA, claimed that the latter was the instigator. He also claimed to have never seen Rocky pointing the gun at Relli, despite the latter claiming otherwise.

"[ASAP Rocky] walked around with a prop gun. Like a starter pistol, like a prop gun, as his defense," Twelvyy told the jury.

When asked about why he would do that, he said he'd seen it on "several occasions."

"The first time I seen it, it wasn't on his body or anything. It was for a video shoot in the Bronx...in July of 2021," Twelvyy recalled. "He had a scene that was more like a private scene. Not too many people could be around the scene...It was like a mini move. He had props, he had different things to make it feel like a movie set," he said, per XXL Magazine.

Furthermore, he alleged that Relli called on ASAP Rocky to "shoot that fake a** gun." He also revealed that they tried to diffuse the situation that night, but Relli followed them and attacked them, prompting Rocky to shoot his gun at the ground twice to scare the ASAP mob member.

ASAP Rocky is reportedly facing a recommended sentence of eight years behind bars, should he be found guilty of the two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
