Reality TV star Wes Bergmann took to X to apologize for his comments on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship. Bergmann, of House of Villains and The Challenge fame, who recently joined Traitors Season 3, explained his comments alongside the apology on X.

The apology was related to Bergmann’s appearance on the podcast, The Social Game, alongside hosts, Michele Fitzgerald and Kellie Nalbandian, which went viral when he chose to share tidbits about the early days of pop star, Taylor Swift’s relationship with NFL player, Travis Kelce. Bergmann lives in an upmarket neighborhood of Kansas City, and his neighbor is none other than Kelce, according to People Magazine.

Having observed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in close quarters, Bergmann chose to divulge information about Kelce’s relationship with Swift on the podcast. Talking to Fitzgerald and Nalbandian, Bergman said that he knew Swift and Kelce were dating much before the rest of the world found out, saying:

“I was like the first person to know about any of this stuff and I tried to tell this woman [Fitzgerald] a long time ago, I was like ‘they're together just so you know’"

Bergmann continued:

“She didn't believe it, she was like 'she only goes for artists’”

Bergmann also spoke about being the first one to know of the relationship much before Swift started frequenting Kelce’s games. He said:

“I beat the validating like of her showing up to games and stuff by like six months”

Fitzgerald explained why she didn’t believe Wes Bergmann when he shared the news of Taylor Swift’s new relationship with her. She said:

“Here’s the thing, just based on her track record, she loves a brooding artist…usually they're a bit scrawnier, they’re kind of like womanizers you know in a lot of ways.”

Referring to Travis Kelce, Fitzgerald said:

“Then you have him, who seems chivalrous and like an all good American football player and he's just been winning and crushing”

Bergmann ended the topic with a hilarious twist, saying:

“To me he's the boy next door”

“Omg y’all I’m so sorry and confused. Everything being reported on is none of my business. My contribution to this was taken out of context and said in what I thought was relative obscurity, but it obviously wasn’t. He moved in November, that’s all I know.”
