Casey Wasserman, the chairman of the LA 2028 Olympic Committee, has denounced all allegations brought forth by the Daily Mail.

The publication has alleged that Wasserman is a manipulative, serial cheater, stirring major controversy. Wasserman has dismissed any notion as unfounded and damaging.

Here's a rundown of what the Daily Mail said about Wasserman

According to the Daily Mail, Casey Wasserman "has had a chronic condition of sleeping with people who work for him."

He has also been accused of 'Love bombing," which is when someone showers their partner with excessive love in the beginning stages of a relationship, so as to disorient them. He allegedly bought his "potential conquests" Louboutin shoes, La Perla lingerie, and even Range Rovers, among others.

However, once his interests died down, he disowned them "like a hot potato." The article also details the narratives of several women who have come forth against the chairman, with the whole lot echoing similar sentiments. The outlet reported on August 1, 2024, that everyone has chosen to remain anonymous out of "fear of social or legal consequences."

"I truly think he underestimates the pain and long-term damage he causes women like me who believed him."

The outlet also claims that Casey Wasserman had been cheating on his wife five years into their marriage, with his assistant. He also had a newborn baby at the time. Since then, he has been further accused of igniting a flame with his secretary Patricia Feau, and his former private jet flight attendant Jenny Chandler, among others. Feau denied the notion when contacted by the outlet.

However, things don't end there, as even Casey Wasserman's friends came out to corroborate these claims, according to the outlet. They alleged that he spends "millions" on keeping his ways under wraps, especially with the use of security that doubles as chauffeurs. The payments to a high-end security company can be corroborated, according to Olympic nonprofit accounts.

One of his former friends claimed,

"There was nobody in town who didn't know."

The lengthy article only goes on to dish out such claims, with a long list of women-- from secretaries to flight attendants, to assistants. At one point, the article even brings forth Casey Wasserman's ties to Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell. The two are notorious for their work in sex trafficking children, with the latter currently serving a 20-year sentence.

However, the outlet made it known that there was no virtual evidence that Wasserman was involved in any of the couple's crimes, despite his ties with them continuing long after their illegal acts were brought to light.

Furthermore, the publication reported that in March 2021, Chandler sent an email to Wasserman's then-wife, detailing the alleged affair. She said they'd been together for seven years and he lied the whole time. She also detailed the locations at which the two had gotten intimate, and she also named his trysts with other women as well. The email supposedly went viral among his friends.

The article concludes with his friends attesting to his devotion as a dad.

Casey Wasserman is sticking by his "commitment" to the LA28, despite losing Billie Eilish as a client

On September 10, 2024, Casey Wasserman sat down for a panel that was a part of the CNBC x Boardroom: Game Plan conference in Santa Monica.

There, towards the end, he was probed about the article. Wasserman reacted with a dismissal, and said that he would not be stepping down from the LA28 role at the Wasserman Media Group. He said,

“If The Daily Mail qualifies as reporting, then I guess we’re all in trouble. But we live in a day and age where people can say whatever they want without facts, without corroboration, without sources, and it’s the world we live in. … I’m going to do my job and do it to the end. That’s the commitment I made.”

He added that he thinks he's the one who's "most invested," and "most capable of delivering the result we need for the city."

Since the article came out, Casey Wasserman's company, which represents giants like Kendrick Lamar, has faced major backlash. Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas, decided to part ways with the company, creating ties, instead, with the competitor, WME. Variety reported that Eilish and her team were "horrified" upon learning and being named in the story.

A spokesperson for the two told Variety,

“While grateful to their former live booking agents at Wasserman, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell have opted to have film, TV and music handled by the same agency, WME, moving forward.”

When probed about losing such high-profile clients at the event, he did not directly respond. Rather, he simply said,

“The wind hits the tall trees.”

So far, no one from the LA28 has commented on the matter. It remains to be seen how Casey Wasserman's career unravels in the upcoming weeks.
