Rumors are swirling that Rob Gronkowski is considering yet another return to the NFL.

More commonly known as "Gronk," news that the sportsman is planning a comeback was reported by Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan's Cecil Lammey, as per Fox News. At the time of writing, the news has yet to be confirmed.

As the rumors continue to swirl, interest in Rob Gronkowski's net worth has been renewed. The ex-NFL tight end was granted a $600,000 windfall just this December, and even without his bonus, his net worth clocked in at $45 million at the time, as reported by Celebrity Net Worth. As a Patriot, he is most renowned for having set several records, including the most touchdown receptions by a tight end.

Everything we know about Rob Gronkowski's retirement and career in the NLF

According to Cecil Lammey, as reported by Fox News, Gronkowski "loves Denver & QB Bo Nix," though he is also connected to head coach Sean Payton, who had a stint at Fox Sports with the tight end before he went back to coaching.

Denver Sports has reported that the Denver Broncos is one of the teams showing interest in bagging the Patriots legend. Rob Gronkowski did say, while on his Dudes on Dudes podcast, that his current work with Fox Sports is as tiring as it was for him when he was in the league:

"I might as well go back because playing ball would be easier than what I’ve been doing over the last six months," Gronkowski said.

Gronkowski first ended his 2019 retirement when he came back to join former New England Patriots teammate, Tom Brady, in 2020. The two held a stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As per Fox News, Gronkowski can be credited with scoring two touchdowns for the team at the time, culminating in their win at the Super Bowl LV.

However, he once again retired in 2022, and since then, he has been working as an analyst for Fox Sports. During his career, Rob Gronkowski is renowned for having taken the Patriots to the top in three Super Bowls. He was also named to five Pro Bowls, four First-team All-Pro’s, and was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in nine years with the team.

The 35-year-old sportsman ended his 11-year-long career with 92 touchdowns, 621 receptions, and over 9,200 yards.

As reported by Fox News, Rob Gronkowski has previously told outlets that his retirement is permanent and that he was even "washed up."
