In her recently released documentary, In Her Words, Megan Thee Stallion admits to lying to Gayle King in an interview when she brought up her s*x life.

When Gayle King asked her if she ever had s*x with Tory Lanez, the singer lied since she felt the question was "irrelevant" to their conversation which revolved around the 2020 shooting incident.

In the documentary, Megan can be heard saying,

"Yes, bi***. I lied to Gayle King, bi***. First of all, I ain't know that bi*** was finna gonna ask me about that shit. I thought we was gonna talk about this shooting?

She then added,

"Why is you asking me about fuc**** Tory? That's not what this is about."

The rapper recently filed a request for a restraining order against Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting her while they were coming back from a Kylie Jenner party in 2020.

Lanez's lawyer, Ceasar McDowell, issued a lengthy statement slamming the restraining order calling Megan's request "ridiculous." He also questioned the credibility of Megan's statements which accused Lanez of harassing her online, after she admitted to lying to Gayle King in the documentary. McDowell mentioned,

"When someone has openly admitted to lying on major public platforms. At what point do we, as a society, stop believing the narrative they are pushing?"

More about Megan Thee Stallion's request for a restraining order against Tory Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion recently filed court documents requesting for a restraining order against Tory Lanez who shot her in the feet during an argument in 2020. In the court documents, the rapper accuses Lanez of harassing her online from behind bars and subjecting her to "repeated trauma and re-victimization.

Megan Thee Stallion's lawyers accused blogger Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, also known as Milagro Gramz, of being a "mouthpiece" and "puppet" for sharing information about the shooting case and spreading lies on behalf of Lanez. The lawyer accused Lanez of paying the blogger for doing so.

While responding to the statement about the payments made, McDowell admitted that there were Zelle payments made to the blogger through Lanez's father Sonstar Peterson's account who paid the blogger around $3k between October 28, 2020 and March 3, 2022.

Lanez's lawyer argued that the payments did not directly come from Lanez and the motive behind the payments has not been clarified.

A court hearing on the restraining order is scheduled to take place on January 9, 2025.
