Rapper Jim Jones claims he was excluded from an important arrangement for the 2021 Dipset vs. The LOX clash, which has rekindled tensions with his old Diplomat partner Cam'ron and Verzuz co-founder Swizz Beatz. The dispute started on his most recent appearance on The Breakfast Club on Thursday, 27 February, after Jones challenged Cam'ron to a $10 million boxing bout.

Jim Jones calls out Swizz Beatz over alleged Private Deal

The Harlem rapper claimed in the interview that Swizz Beatz had a private agreement with Cam'ron about the Verzuz event and that neither he nor fellow Diplomat Juelz Santana were informed.

Jones responded,

“Swizz, holla at me. You backdoored me, gave that man some business that you ain't give all of us,”

Jones said that Dipset's participation was a key factor in Verzuz's success and called for just recompense for his services.

“I need triple what I had last time, the way we put that Verzuz on fire. We had that thing looking like a championship game... You definitely got to give me triple, Swizz, and you got to give me some real business this time.”

Jones claims that when he approached Swizz Beatz about the matter, the producer acknowledged his mistake and said,

"I spoke to Swizz, and he told me straight up, 'I did bad'. He admitted it.

Jim Jones slams Cam'ron for Shady Business Tactics

In addition to criticizing Swizz Beatz, Jim Jones also harshly criticized Cam'ron, charging him with being self-centered and engaging in dishonest business tactics.

According to Jones, Cam'ron has a track record of negotiating behind the backs of his Diplomats team, acting as the sole decision-maker, and disregarding the needs of his group.

“He’ll say, ‘That’s me being a businessman.’ Nah, that’s you being a sucka doing backdoor sht. I stand on 10 toes and I break bread with my n**as... I’m not one of them type of dudes.”

Jim Jones said that one of the main reasons Dipset lost to The LOX at Verzuz was Cam'ron's lackluster performance. At the conclusion of the fight, he noted the Harlem rapper was even jeered.

“He mad ’cause he got booed and we lost. Let’s tell the truth. He got booed at the end! He forgot his freestyle.”

Jones challenges Cam'ron to a $10 Million Boxing match

Jim Jones also responded angrily to statements made by Cam'ron on his talk show It Is What It Is during his appearance on The Breakfast Club. Instead of advancing their careers, Cam'ron accused Jones of deceiving people and locking them up. Jones responded angrily when Charlamagne the God brought it up.

Jones retaliated by saying,

"How I send people to jail? How?! What are these n****s smoking? They smoking new drugs out here!"

Jones directly challenged Charlamagne when he stated that Cam'ron was the one who made the comments.

He responded angrily by saying,

“He’s a birdhead. He don’t want no smoke. I’ll box his head off. Where’s the ring at? You getting money, right? $10 million right now. Today, n-gga. I’ll catch a flight wherever you at. You with Mayweather and ’em. $10 million. I’ll meet you in any boxing ring.”

He continued,

“Now go make some jokes about that on your next show. I’ll box your head off. You know that. Don’t play with me. Now go type about that.”

Although Swizz Beatz hasn't responded to Jim Jones' charges, he recently expressed support for At The Church Steps. The $10 million boxing challenge has not yet received a response from Cam'ron. As the Dipset controversy rages on, fans are still split and show no signs of abating.
