Rachel Zoe's 14-year-old son, Skyler, got into an accident with an electronic bicycle, leaving him with a "badly lacerated kidney, a ton of pain and a shattered mom" as per her March 1 Instagram post.
Zoe shared a photo of her son on the hospital bed while warning parents against e-bikes. Zoe posted an Instagram story saying,
"For any parent deciding if they should get a f**ing E-BIKE for their child DO NOT I DID NOT and I am a hard no but Sky was on one and been in ER for 9 hours..whoever is being begged by a child to get one HARD NO."

Zoe is a mother to two kids, Skyler and Kaius, whom she shares with her ex-husband Rodger Berman. Rachel Zoe issues a "HARD NO" on E-bikes
On March 1, Rachel Zoe took to her Instagram stories to post a story of her son on a hospital bed. In the story, her son, Skyler, can be seen scrolling on a smartphone while they spent nine hours in the emergency room.
Posting a follow-up story to her original story, Rachel Zoe, while detailing his son's condition noted,
"Update: a badly lacerated kidney, a ton of pain and a shattered mom... unable to laugh or sneeze and 100 tests later we are still here and I know how much worse this could have been. BUT to all the parents about to cave on the E-BIKE do not. Sky will not be on one for as long as I have a say in his life. HARD NO."
She also issued a thank you to the hospital staff saying,
"Also thank you to the best doctors and nurses that do this miracle work 24:7. You are the heroes."
