Pamela Bach was traveling on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, seated behind her former husband, David Hasselhoff, in February 2003. The Baywatch star lost control and hit a sidewalk curb, resulting in a crash.

The motorcycle accident left the then-50-year-old actor with broken ribs and a fractured lower back. Pamela Bach ended up fracturing her left ankle and right wrist, according to the officials.

The Harley Davidson crash happened three years before Pamela parted ways with her spouse. She didn’t work much after her 2003 accident and also blamed the same for her split with Hasselhoff. In 2007, the Knight Rider actress proclaimed in a statement given to the Irish Examiner,

“I couldn't walk for a year and was in a wheelchair. They told me I'd never walk again. During that whole year, he took me out only twice - once to a Celine Dion concert and once to a basketball game. He let the housekeeper take care of me.”

It was reported that the Celebrity Big Brother 8 contestant’s ability to work was limited following the accident. Hasselhoff even questioned the same in 2017 by petitioning to stop paying spousal support. Pamela Bach called out her ex-husband through counter-filing in November 2017, per TMZ.

The outlet also accessed the documents filed by the Baywatch Nights actor, which accused the actress of lying. Following the legal disputes, the TV star got to cut his spousal support payments by half.

The Sirens actress was found dead at her home on March 5, 2025. According to TMZ, her family checked on her after not hearing from her for quite some time. They found Pamela Bach unresponsive and called the paramedics who declared the 61-year-old actress dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office ruled out her death as suicide due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. After her death, Bach’s rep, Sharon Kelly, also spoke to TMZ,

“I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff. Pamela was a 'Force of Nature' ... She will be missed…

Kelly further added,

"My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into. She was a 'Proud Mama'!"

David Hasselhoff also took to his X account to post,

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.

David continued,

"We [the Hasselhoff family] are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
