What happened to OG 2 LOW? Rapper goes viral after an alarming incident during live podcast recording

Fans are worried for rapper OG 2 LOW after a viral video shows him accidentally shooting himself in the leg during an episode of the 1 on 1 W/ Mike D podcast. At the time, he was sharing a personal anecdote, though the storytelling was cut short when he hurt himself, leaving everyone on set worried.

In the viral video, OG 2 Low can be seen talking to Mike D about his career and endeavors when he casually puts his hand in his pocket. Then, a pop goes off from inside, as the pistol he had accidentally went off. Everyone on set is visibly baffled, as Mike D can be heard asking, "Who shot who?" Although shaken up after the incident, OG 2 Low affirms that he's fine.

Following the incident, Mike D can be heard asking if "Somebody got shot?” to which someone off camera replied, "No, we’re good." OG 2 Low was then seen pulling part of the gun out of his pocket before slipping it back in.

Then, someone off-camera was heard saying, “Ah … what the f**k.” Moments later, 2 Low asked everyone if they were good, and when asked if he was alright, he said, “I hope," while glancing down at his leg.

OG 2 LOW expressed gratitude that everyone was safe and sound, noting:

"Right now, man, we’re just being grateful that everyone is safe, everyone is good."

Host Mike D added,

"We had to take a small break. We had a pop, a moment, you know what I’m saying? It’s never happened on ‘1 on 1 with Mike D.’ But tonight, with my brother Tulo, every time we get together, we make history. So, I guess we just made history, y’all!"

The two then went on for their short break before sitting back down to resume their segment. Watch the video below:

In the video uploaded on YouTube, Mike D explained,

“X Rap a lot artist 2 Low almost (gun emoji) himself on camera. Thank God everyone was OK.”

The rapper also took to Instagram to pen the following:

"U said u was starting season 2 off wit da Big guns. Da main thang we all safe negativity sells n get dem talking so run it up fam.”

Elsewhere in the video, just before the gun discharged accidentally, OG 2 Low revealed he was 12 years old when he recorded his first hit, Bring it On. He revealed that at the time, he "never had no passion, no dreams, no thoughts of ever being a rapper." However, "one thing led to another," leading him to choose a career in rap.
