Fans have been worried about Kelly Clarkson due to her absence from her daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. The singer and television host has been absent for several episodes, with the guest host replacing her role.

Clarkson has not commented on her absence, but reports have suggested that she is dealing with a personal issue that does not appear to be anything to worry about.

Clarkson, who has not appeared on the show since March 5, is known for her warm, friendly hosting style. Since then, multiple guest hosts, including Simu Liu, Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes, Josh Groban, and Brooke Shields, have filled in to helm the program.

Liu, who was originally in town to promote his new film, Last Breath, told viewers when he hosted on March 3 that he only found out that he would be taking over temporarily just minutes before the show was set to start.

"Kelly actually isn't able to make it today. We are sending her our very best, and here's the thing. I did not know I was doing this until about five minutes ago,"

Fans immediately began speculating about Clarkson’s health and well-being, calling for NBC to issue a statement explaining the matter.

"We don’t need to know her business but need to know she is ok please" one fan expressed their worry.
"Oh bless Kelly. I love seeing everyone rallying 'you don’t owe us an explanation!!' Take care of yourself, sweet girl." said another.
"I respect Kelly Clarkson's privacy, but I am very concerned about her." commented an Instagram user.

But sources close to the singer told TMZ that Clarkson is perfectly fine and that the reason for her absence is a private matter that has nothing to do with her.

Outside of television, Clarkson is preparing for her upcoming Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The residency will launch on July 4, 2025, which will include 18 shows and will go on until November 15, 2025.

A look into Kelly Clarkson's early career and achievements in the music industry

Kelly Clarkson was born in Texas, U.S.A. She gained her fame after being crowned the inaugural American Idol winner in 2002, launching her into superstardom. Her win earned her a recording contract with RCA and the debut single A Moment Like This, which was a critical hit.

Her debut album, Thankful (2003), helped her enter into the Pop genre, but according to Britannica, it was Breakaway (2004) that sealed the deal.

The album, which had rock influences, included several major hits like Since U Been Gone, Because of You, and Behind These Hazel Eyes, which won her a Grammy Award. Clarkson continued to produce more albums and song releases like All I Ever Wanted (2009) and Stronger (2011), the latter of which earned another Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.

In addition to her music career, Kelly Clarkson served as a coach on The Voice (2018–2021) and debuted The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2018, winning multiple Daytime Emmy Awards.
