Erika Jayne and Brooke Candy are continuing their feud over proper credits for their song "Drip," which is featured on the 2025 Oscar-winning film Anora’s soundtrack.

Candy, 35, and Jayne, 53, collaborated on the 2019 track, which Andy Cohen mentioned during this week's Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. However, Jayne, who thought the song's success was "wild," failed to bring up Candy's name at the time.

"Thank you. I’m a feature on the song, and the movie won Palm D’or, and now it’s up for best [picture]... It's wild, right?" she said.

The rapper then took to TikTok on April 8 to call Erika Jayne "rude," asking, “Why could you have not used that moment to give me my flowers? I put you on that song.”

"So then you decide to, instead of just saying my name and giving me a little bit of credit for my song — my song that features you — you decide to just say, ‘Oh, I’m just a feature.’ You could’ve taken that moment and given me my flowers, and you didn’t, and I think that says a lot about you," she continued.

Everything we know about the drama between Erika Jayne and Brooke Candy:

A source has since told Us Weekly that Erika Jayne “has nothing but respect and appreciation for all artists in the music industry.”

“It is very disappointing to see that [Erika’s] choice of expression around her own work on her own social platforms, as well as her work with the RHOBH, is being ridiculed and made to be something it is not,” the insider said. The source also claimed that “Erika did promote the song on her social platforms, which helped boost royalties that Brooke solely received, and it was very clear that Brooke was involved in the project.”

In another video on TikTok, Candy elucidated that she has a "problem" with the way Jayne has been promoting their track since it was featured in Anora:

"She had a private screening of Anora. She didn’t invite me," she said, referencing the singer's November 2024 screening at the AMC Theater at The Grove in Los Angeles. She claimed that Erika Jayne "used [the screening] as an opportunity to promote herself" and later shared photos from the event on Instagram without mentioning her:

"How could I not have a problem? Like, she didn’t tag me. That’s my song. She’s literally taking credit for my song," she added.

She went on, noting that "you don’t do this as an artist. That’s why — she’s not an artist." According to Candy, Jayne "doesn't get it," but "you don’t do this. It’s rude. It’s rude, and it’s delusional, and it’s wrong. You can’t do that." She also alleged that Jayne "didn't even write" her parts of the song.

She then uploaded a screenshot of her text with Erika Jayne about the Instagram posts, noting:

"I saw your post on Instagram and it looks great. Congrats on the screening. Would you mind tagging me in the caption? I worked hard on the song and video with a great group of artists and I also negotiated with the film crew to put the song in the movie."

Jayne, on the other hand, replied with a heart and a "Done!" to which Candy replied, "Thank you so much, I appreciate it! Getting credit for high visibility posts is always great." However, in her video on TikTok, she noted, "Even after all of that, I still texted her with empathy and grace." She concluded her video:

"I’d rather have collaborated with Countess Luann [de Lesseps of Housewives fame], so let that be known."

The insider, however, told Us Weekly that Candy is the only one to have gained from the track financially, as Erika Jayne “did not receive or ask for one cent” from the project.

“Erika paid all her own expenses around her involvement in the project and was not even made aware that the song appeared in the film Anora until its release,” the source alleged to Us. “Again, Brooke benefited financially from the film without ever mentioning the song’s involvement to Erika, who again received zero compensation, nor did she ask for it.”

As for Anora's private screening, the insider claimed that the guest list for the event was not in Jayne's control:

“[Erika] was invited, she said yes and she showed up like a professional,” the source continued. “Whether or not other talent are invited is at the discretion of the studio, Neon.”

At the time of writing, Erika Jayne has yet to issue a statement.
