During Thursday night's concert on the Rock Legends Cruise, former Eagles lead guitarist Don Felder was hurried off stage due to a medical issue. Just before performing Tequila Sunrise, the 77-year-old performer became confused, stopped playing, and needed help getting offstage. Later, his management acknowledged that he had experienced dehydration and was being treated for it.
At the time of the event, Don Felder was performing on the Rock Legends Cruise, which had sailed from Miami. Felder introduces the Eagles' iconic song Tequila Sunrise in a widely shared YouTube video before he starts to exhibit signs of instability. He started trembling and gazing out into space as he attempted to balance himself against the microphone stand. As the audience applauded and several shouted,
"We love you, Don!"
Crew members hurried to his help and escorted him off the stage.

His crew responded to the health crisis with a statement shortly after the show was canceled. The statement said,
"We appreciate everyone’s concern regarding Don Felder’s abrupt stop to his show last night on the Rock Legends Cruise."
Following the medical treatment, it was determined that he was dehydrated. He is feeling considerably better after receiving fluids.
Charlie Brusco, Felder's manager, added more context by telling Fox News Digital,
"Don had a medical episode last night during the show. He received medical attention and was deemed to be suffering from dehydration. By medical rules of the cruise, he’ll be in quarantine for the next 24 hours to rest. Arrangements are being made for him to play on Saturday and Sunday."
His health is still his first concern, according to his staff, and his forthcoming performances will be modified to allow for his recuperation. The statement continued.
“To ensure he has ample time to rehydrate and recover fully, we are working on rescheduling today’s shows and adjusting the remainder of the cruise schedule accordingly. Thank you for your understanding, and remember—drink your water!”

In an emotional Instagram post, Felder's girlfriend Jaden Osborne responded to the event, calling it a
"crazy way to spend Valentine's Day"
Thinking back on their history, she revealed that they had first met on the same charter vacation a decade prior. Although our relationship didn't take off for a few years, Don and Jaden's journey together has been an incredible one. She wrote,
"@donfeldermusic, I love you x10000 +1."
