Disney Influencer Dominique Brown passed away on December 5, at 34. She died allegedly after suffering a severe allergic reaction at an event hosted by BoxLunch in Los Angeles.

Several media outlets reported that the California-based influencer consumed something at the event after being told it did not contain an allergen.

According to a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) by @obbsessionss, Brown was her mom’s best friend and reportedly had a severe peanut allergy.

“She was my moms best friend of 10 years. She asked if there was peanuts in the food and everyone told her no.” She added, "When she instantly felt bad she asked someone to take her to the hospital, everyone said no and to take pictures first. So sad."

Dominique Brown was a senior design manager in the Consumer Products Division at Disney. Her work included designing toys and other consumer products for the company.

She co-founded BlackGirlDisney (@blackgirldisney) in 2018 with Mia Von to represent the Disney influencer and encourage a safe space for women of color who cherish Disney films and theme parks. On Instagram she goes by the username @HellooDomo.
