What happened to Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s daughter Carly Davis? Teen Mom stars slam leaked photos daughter following rift

Back in 2009, when Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell were still young, they welcomed their first child, their daughter, Carly Davis, into the world. The couple documented their journey with Carly's adoption on MTV's 16 And Pregnant. Years after Carly's adoption, a few photos of her have allegedly been leaked.

Amid the photo leak fiasco, Baltierra took to his Instagram stories to share his disappointment. He mentioned how he is sad to see Carly Davis' photos and videos on the internet. He wrote,

"To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. It’s literally heartbreaking & sad that people are still continuing to share pictures & now videos of Carly."

"The same people & pages who brutalize me & Cate with daily cruelty/hate for just speaking about our adoption story publicly are now participating in sharing her actual picture & video publicly. We haven’t shown her face in over 11 years because that’s what her parents wanted & now all of you are just doing it without a care in the world & it’s truly devastating,"

he further added. Baltierra additionally mentioned that every Sunday, he got to see his daughter, and he

"kept it private to myself."

However, now, he might not get to spend those moments every week due to her leaked photos.

He also stated that he is aware that

"[...]everyone will blame me & Cate for this, but just remember…we’re not the ones who have posted here. We’re not the ones who’ve leaked her photos or videos, you all have & that is the sad irony here."

Why was Carly Davis adopted?

Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell were mere teenagers when they had their first daughter. The Teen Mom stars placed Carly Davis up for adoption. While it was supposed to be a closed adoption, Carly's adoptive parents, Teresa and Brandon Davis, agreed to have it open.

However, things between Carly Davis' biological and adoptive parents are allegedly not fine anymore. During the April 1 Episode of PodcastOne's Cate & Ty: Break It Down, Catelynn revealed that Carly's adoptive parents allegedly had a problem with a visit they paid their first child about two years ago.

She revealed that Tyler shared a picture of their entire family but did not reveal Carly Davis' face on social media. Following the visit, Brandon and Teresa confronted them about the photos. Later, they agreed that they did not have any problem with those pictures by saying,

"Only the back of her head. If you can't see her face, we're fine with it."

Their association worsened when Tyler and Catelynn began planning their next visit with Carly. Teressa expressed her disappointment in a text message and did not agree with the idea of Carly spending summers with her biological parents.

Lowell alleged that Teressa got "upset" with her and added,

"She just came back with, 'The way you speak about us isn't nice, so we're not going to be responding for a while."

They further got to know that Carly's adoptive parents had cut off contact with them. Tyler and Catelynn have allegedly not met Carly in two years.
