In an exclusive with People magazine published on Wednesday, Angelica Huston, who starred alongside her ex-partner Jack Nicholson in Prizzi's Honor, revealed her battle with cancer for the first time. The 73-year-old actress, shared with the publication that she was diagnosed after the release of the movie John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in 2019.
"That was a very serious moment for me...I managed to survive it, and I'm proud of myself."
The actress also shared that she has been in the clear for about four years.
"I'm at the four-year mark, and that means so much to me. It's a fantastic thing. I'm very proud of myself, and I've been very lucky. My doctors have been wonderful."

In 2025, the actress had to evacuate from her home due to the Los Angeles Wildfires. She also reportedly revealed to The Guardian that her ex-partner, Jack Nicholson, had reached out to her. Huston shared with the outlet that,
"I was in a car with three dogs, two cats and the housekeeper, and he called and asked if I was all right, and if I had someplace I was staying...That’s the bottom line with he and I — when the chips are down, he’s there."
Angelica Huston, is an American Actress famously known for her role as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family. Jack Nicholson is an American actor and filmmaker known for his roles in movies like The Shining.

According to People Magazine, Angelica Huston and Jack Nicholson dated on and off for about 17 years from 1973 to 1990. Their relationship ended for good when Nicholson fathered a child outside of their relationship.

Why did Angelica Huston and Jack Nicholson Split?
According to the New York Post, Huston and Nicholson met each other in the year 1973 at a party at the latter's home. They had an on-and-off relationship, reportedly due to Nicholson's infidelity. In 1975, she broke up with Nicholson and started dating actor Ryan O’Neal, but his alleged cheating and abuse led to the end of their relationship, and she returned to Jack Nicholson.

According to multiple reports, Anjelica Huston, in her 2014 memoir titled Watch Me, shared with the readers that the reason she ended her relationship with Jack Nicholson in 1990 was because he was having a baby with another woman, Rebecca Broussard.
The end of their relationship wasn't very amicable as the New York Post reports that after Huston saw a Playboy article about the "s*xual dalliance" between a young actress and Nicholson, she attacked him by beating him "savagely about the head and shoulders". Huston wrote that,
"All the while...I felt a strange underlying gratitude to him for allowing me to beat the living hell out of him.”
She later married sculptor Robert Graham in 1992 and remained with him till his death in 2008. Huston and Nicholson met each other again in 1995 at the set of The Crossing Guard. The duo still keeps in touch with each other.
