Skai Jackson’s boyfriend, Deondre Burgin, also known by his online alias 'Yerkky Yerkky,' was arrested just days after Skai announced that she was pregnant.
A report obtained by TMZ indicates that Deondre Burgin was arrested in Cincinnati, Ohio, on 13th November after attempting to evade the police.
Authorities reportedly approached Deondre Burgin regarding a juvenile parole violation warrant. However, he fled when confronted, leading to a brief pursuit.
During the chase, Deondre Burgin fell, sustaining a minor cut on his left cheek. The arrest adds to the ongoing public attention surrounding Burgin, particularly in light of his connection to Skai Jackson.
According to The Shade Room, Deondre Burgin was later released with a citation for misdemeanor obstruction of official business. Skai Jackson has not addressed the situation publicly.

Drama does not seem to be stopping for Deondre Burgin who apart from the video of his arrest going viral has had several other viral moments this week.
After Skai Jackson shared the news of her pregnancy with People Magazine, netizens went on a wild goose chase to find who her boyfriend was and finally found Deondre Burgin's Facebook profile where he goes by the user name Yerkky Yerkky. In a now-deleted post, Burgin had written:
"On wopp I’m salty I got this dumb a** Disney b***h pregnant I hate this h*e,”
Jackson and her mother Kiya Cole defended him after the controversial Facebook post from his account insulted her. They both claimed the post was the result of a hack.
However, the drama did not end there as Deondre Burgin yet again got caught up in controversy after he went on his Facebook Live to shade people who were comparing him to Skai Jackson's Disney co-star Cameron Boyce (who died in 2019 because of epilepsy). On his Live, Deondre was seen smoking and asking people not to compare him to Cameron Boyce as it 'wasn't cool' to compare him to a dead guy.

According to an article by We Got You Covered (WGYC), Deondre Burgin is reportedly 25 years old based on a previous X account. Unlike Jackson, Deondre Burgin isn’t a public figure, however, according to Capital Xtra, his public Instagram account where he goes by the username richnviolent boasts around more than 80k followers.
