Subsequently, Boomin invited her to his Los Angeles studio, where she allegedly observed him abuse codeine despite his friends’ warnings. Codeine is a widely used opioid pain reliever that has effects that typically last only a few hours. While most people use codeine as directed for medical reasons without issues, some may become dependent on it.

Months after the first studio visit, in September, she reportedly visited him again at the studio, taking half a Xanax pill and a shot of alcohol to manage her grief. She claimed she then lost consciousness and later awoke in a bed with Metro Boomin on top of her, allegedly r*ping her and engaging in non-consensual acts.

According to her account, he told her they were in a Beverly Hills hotel room and that it was time to leave. However, she did not recall how she got there.

LeMaistre later found out she was pregnant and was confident the child was Boomin’s, as she did not have a physical relationship with anyone else. She ended the pregnancy in November 2016. LeMaistre is pursuing unspecified damages for emotional distress, along with punitive damages.

Metro Boomin’s Rap Saved Me allegedly had lyrics that mocked Vanessa LeMaistre’s plight

LeMaistre believed that the song Rap Saved Me, a collaboration between Metro Boomin, 21 Savage, Offset, and Quavo, included lyrics that mock her situation, referencing “She took a Xanny, Then she fainted, I'm from the gutter changing.”

Boomin’s attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II of Sanders Roberts LLP, told TMZ the allegations were baseless and an extortion attempt. He explained that the rapper declined to pay her months ago and continued to stand firm on his decision. The rapper intends to fight the claims in court and plans to file a malicious prosecution claim if he succeeds.

On May 6, 2024, decade-old tweets allegedly posted by young Metro Boomin resurfaced across social media. The posts revealed a series of controversial statements on X (formerly Twitter). In one of these since-deleted tweets, Metro Boomin reportedly denied being a ped*phile, writing, "I can't be a ped*phile at 15 n***a" with the hashtag "#NoPedo."

According to his listed age online, all the tweets were shared when the producer was at least 17 years old. In one tweet, Boomin allegedly wrote, "age aint nothin but a number" and “she might be young but she ready,” while another referenced “beating the charge” if involved with a 13-year-old girl.

Additional posts reportedly disparaged Rihanna, mocking her experiences as a survivor of domestic abuse. In a few tweets, Metro Boomin joked about tweeting “like a child molester” or dressing like “a true pedophile,” while others allegedly discussed using substances like Molly in a manner suggestive of date r*pe.
