Chicken P was recently seen at a McDonald’s outlet in Milwaukee, ordering a massive quantity of burgers. The Still Bussin rapper received his order and stepped outside to feed the local homeless community.
Chicken P, whose real name is Rahkeib Smith, has been dropping songs since 2016. Previously known as Lil Chicken, Smith dropped 'Lil' from his name and added 'P' years ago. Talking to Our Generation Music, Rahkeib explained that he changed his name to signify his growth.
Explaining the meaning of his name to the website, the rapper said:
"And what does Chicken mean, it means whatever you think bro. Some people think it means money, some people think it means something else."
He elaborated that he chose to add “P,” after Master P, a New Orleans rapper and record producer. In addition to Master P, Chicken P admires the likes of Boosie, 50 Cent, Future, and Gucci Mane.
In 2016, Chicken P dropped his first single, Pressure, featuring Gwapo Chapo. In the coming years, he released albums like Chicken Scratch, Billy, Strictly 4 Tha Streetz, and many more. Smith’s recent projects include Still Bussin, Chick James, Vol. 1, and Chick James, Vol. 1 (Deluxe).
Smith had already received initial traction in Milwaukee, but his track Fast Cash Babies with Jigg was his shot to fame, per his interview with Our Generation Music.
Chicken P reportedly spent over $1,100 for his 500-burger order to feed the homeless
Chicken P’s order of 500 burgers took about 45 minutes and four McDonald’s employees to prepare, FOX6 News Milwaukee reported. Two people were assigned to the hamburgers, while the two employees were appointed to handle the cheeseburgers. Ultimately, Smith got his order, which had a total bill of more than $1,100.
Elijah Jones, the manager at McDonald’s, was surprised by the sheer quantity of the order. She told the TV channel:
“Me being me, I just come up front like, ‘Who ordered 500 burgers?’ That's a lot of burgers.”
Jones shook Smith’s hands and went back to work on the order, which the Milwaukee rapper had placed to help feed the homeless in the city. Chicken P also spoke to FOX6 News Milwaukee. He said:
“Really, I just be in the spirit sometimes. I just be wanting to give back, be riding around, there’s people outside cold, they got a million kids, walking, they’re freezing.”
Smith drove around the city for hours to give away food to those in need. The rapper told the channel that he gave “each person two burgers,” adding:
“If I see a mom, and she had kids with her, I would give her like 20 burgers.”
Per the local news channel, the Close To Me rapper has done a similar thing in the past, and plans to repeat it to help the local community.
