Zach Bryan's former girlfriend publicly accused him of abuse on the BFFs podcast show. Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia opened up about her relationship with Zach Bryan for the first time after the couple split up on October 22.
On November 7, LaPaglia joined her fellow host and Barstool founder, Dave Portnoy, on the BFFs podcast to tell her side of the story, accusing Zach Bryan of emotional abuse and accusing him of being controlling.
Speaking about the alleged abuse, LaPaglia said,
"The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude," referring to Zach Bryan.

According to the reports, Bryan and LaPaglia met at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023 and began dating in July 2023. The couple officially split up on October 22 when Bryan made an Instagram post confirming their breakup, which read:
"Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with eachother and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her. I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. "
He further stated:
"I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too. With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”
Minutes after Bryan posted this story addressing his breakup, LaPaglia posted a story on Instagram saying,
"I’m feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk."
On Tuesday, Lapaglia appeared on the BFFs podcast and opened up about her relationship with Bryan. She alleged Bryan to be emotionally abusive and revealed that she was offered a $12 million NDA by Bryan in exchange for her silence about their relationship. She alleged she was offered around $10 -12 million, a house, and an apartment in New York, which she reportedly turned down.
"They started low, then they went up to ten million, then they went up to twelve million, then they wanted to give me a house, then they wanted to give me a New York apartment, then they wanted to do all these things," LaPaglia said.
LaPaglia believed this was Bryan's attempt to control her. She stated,
"That was his final shot at still controlling me and controlling my life with that money and with him being able to walk away like, I did a good thing. You know, I gave her all this money, who cares about everything I did?”
LaPaglia further claimed their relationship was a constant cycle of "build you up, beat you down, apologize over and over."
"There was always another excuse as to why he was treating me so poorly and why I'm crying myself to sleep every night," she added. "Why he's screaming at me and then you wake up, it's the apology, it's the 'I'm going to be better like I need you in my life,' but if you've been through this — I don't expect people to understand emotional abuse if you haven't been through it. I hope you never have to go through it but if you've been there you know what I'm talking about."
She further alleged that Bryan had previously made his ex-girlfriends sign NDAs to keep them from publicly discussing their experiences with him. LaPaglia said she decided to open up about her alleged experiences for anyone who has been emotionally abused and urged them to take control over their lives.
Zach Bryan has not yet addressed the accusations against him; however, he dropped a new song, This World's A Giant, and announced new music was on the way, prompting him to release High Road reportedly at the same time as LaPaglia's episode dropped.
