TikTok, renowned for breeding slang like rizz and gyat, has produced another one: 304 TikTok. What exactly does it mean? 304 is a euphemism for a promiscuous woman who expresses herself freely. When typed in on an old-school calculator, it spells h*e. When used in a sentence, it goes like this:
"She's got so much rizz, that's some straight-up 304 behavior."
Or,
"Ugh, check out that 304 pulling up rn."
Social media is infamous for censoring foul language; anyone doing so could have their account suspended or even axed. As such, users have resorted to creative methods of discussing adult topics.
Women use 304 TikTok to create a community of understanding and educating
The word accountant, for example, while seemingly innocent, refers to an adult dancer because of the money she earns. The slang was first born when actor Rocky Paterra revealed he had adopted the term as an alternative to telling people about what he does for a living.
While the term may have initially been used for derogatory purposes on the platform, it has since been reclaimed mainly by women, who dish out some advice to the younger generation, share their anecdotes, and answer questions without the underlying negative connotations.
These videos can be found under the search term "304tok." As of last month, the hashtag accumulated nearly 40,000 posts. Check out what X is saying about the trending term:
