"I think we're making another one. I didn't confirm it! I said, "I think. We're working on it."

This confession of Seyfried was met with a strong response from people on the internet. In 2024, Jennifer's Body 2 was first teased by Diablo Cody, who wrote the first film. Cody stated that she would like to make another film and continue the franchise. She stated that she is looking for people who would like to produce her story.
