George Clooney, who is currently promoting his new Broadway play, "Good Night, and Good Luck," gave his fans a sneak peek into what his relationship with wife Amal is like during his appearance on CBS Mornings. The "Ticket to Paradise" actor told host Gayle King that even after so many years of marriage, the couple tries to find things to fight about but never actually succeeds in doing so.

"We’re trying to find something to fight about!"

George Clooney married Amal in 2014 after getting engaged earlier that year. The couple had just begun dating a few months prior, having been introduced by a mutual friend in 2013. In 2017, the "Dusk Till Dawn" actor welcomed fraternal twins with his wife, Amal Clooney.

George Clooney's comments about never arguing with his wife came after he recalled a similar statement he made in 2022 during the couple's previous appearance on CBS Mornings. The "Ocean's 11" actor said:

"I remember we were here with you once before, and I remember we said we’d never had an argument. We still haven’t."

George Clooney further reiterated that all of this is because of Amal Clooney, adding that he feels lucky to be with her. He said:

"I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman. I feel as if I hit the jackpot. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think I’m the luckiest man in the world. So it’s great."

During a 2017 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, George Clooney recounted how their relationship developed after meeting in 2013.

“I thought she was beautiful, and I thought she was funny and obviously smart. She probably thought I was old. Then she sent some pictures from when she was here, and we were writing each other, emailing, talking, mostly about what was going on in each other’s lives, and over a period of time it became clear we were more than just friends."

During his conversation with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, Clooney also praised his children and how they bring joy to both him and Amal. He said:

Our kids are 7, about to be 8, which is a pretty great age. They’re really curious and funny. Every parent thinks their kids are great — our kids are funny and make us laugh."

During a 2020 interview with People Magazine, the "Up in the Air" actor shared that, unlike many couples who faced challenges while being in close quarters during the pandemic, he and Amal Clooney thrived in each other's company.

"I feel very lucky in so many ways to have met her. We haven’t ever had an argument. You know, everybody’s been slammed together because of the coronavirus and a lot of friends’ relationships have been tested. For us, it’s been really easy."

George Clooney, who made his Broadway debut with "Good Night, and Good Luck"on April 3, ditched his signature salt and pepper hair in favor of a black color that has made him almost unrecognizable.
