Nicki Minaj has been knee-deep in controversy after she denied rumors suggesting she shaded fellow music titan Beyoncé. The denial comes after her vocal criticism of Bey's husband, Jay-Z. Kendrick Lamar was unveiled as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LIX, and Minaj was not impressed with Jay-Z's contribution. She felt the role should have gone to Lil Wayne instead.
In a now-deleted tweet, Nicki Minaj referred to an anonymous user as a "Robot on timing," Uproxx reported. Fans were subsequently quick to tie in the tweet with Queen B. However, Minaj refuted all such rumors, commenting on one such video on TikTok, “This is an absolute lie." The Neighborhood Talk blog reported the exchange.

Regardless, fans were quick to opine on the whole shindig. "Girl we not friends if you keep bashing my husband. Lie or not," one user noted.
Several others quipped that the rumors of beef between the two powerhouses were reaching and that Nicki Minaj could if she wanted to.
"The fact yall honestly think nicki is scared of beyonce makes me laugh. This lady has and is going up against ppl with more power than beyonce and yall think she wouldnt say it with her chest? I think theres just a level of respect between the 2 hence why nicki still performs feeling myself," one user posited.
"They want nicki to beef with Beyonce so bad," another said.
"Y’all wanting her to beef with Beyonce just because she’s coming at Jay Z right now is so damn weird.," one user noted.
"I hope She realizes that talking bout Jay is equivalent to taking bout Beyoncé in their eyes. That Friendship or association is dead," another user claimed.
Many more backed the singer, claiming that the rumors of a fight between the two were just "nasty."
