Bryce Dallas Howard, 44, and Natalie Portman, 43, are childhood buddies and share fond memories from their younger days. In a recent interview, the Terminator Salvation star recalled a cherished memory with Portman from a summer camp.
Howard sat with Josh Horowitz for a recent episode of Happy Sad Confused. The actress spoke about her new documentary PETS, her movies, directorial experiences, SPIDER-MAN 3, STAR WARS, her father, Ron Howard, and more.
While chatting with the host, Bryce Dallas Howard recalled a special throwback of joining Natalie Portman at a summer camp.
Sharing anecdotes from that trip, she said,
"I went to summer camp with Natalie Portman and we became buddies."

In a conversation with Josh, Bryce spoke about those wonderful days when she visited movie sets to meet Natalie while she was working on the Star Wars movies.
Natalie Portman portrayed the role of Padme Amidala in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
Reminiscing about meeting her buddy on a film set, Howard further added,
"When she was shooting the prequels, I got to come and visit and stuff. And she was 15 and turned 16 on the set. It was unbelievable to get to see that kind of [film production]."
Talking more about the production landscape and her meeting stars, she chimed in,
"Like, I remember Keira Knightley on the set because she was Natalie's double. And just being like, 'Oh my gosh, this girl looks so much like you, Natalie. It's wild.'"
Bryce Dallas Howard and Natalie Portman share a decades-long friendship. Knowing each other for years, they have supported each other in different phases of life. According to a NataliePortman.com report, their friendship, spanning decades, blossomed after meeting at Stagedoor Manor in the Catskills in the 1990s.
In a conversation with the Telegraph, the Jurassic World: Dominion actress appreciated and credited Portman for her inspiration behind choosing acting as her profession.
"I think seeing the joy that Natalie felt doing plays had an impact on me. I thought, 'Oh, wow, how great to make a living doing something that you enjoy.' I had grown up in that world, but it wasn't until I had a peer like Natalie that I really understood it was a possibility for me as well."
