Tony Buzbee, the Texas-based attorney who made headlines for filing lawsuits against the music mogul Sean Diddy Combs on behalf of several accusers also filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z. The Texas lawyer accused him of s*xually assaulting a 13-year-old girl along with Diddy. Amid the controversial lawsuits, Buzbee accused Jayzās Roc Nation of initiating a smear campaign after the Texas attorneyās former legal troubles and allegations surfaced online.
According to DailyMail, Buzbee faced legal trouble about eight years ago. He was busted for driving while intoxicated (DWI) on March 31, 2016, and was arrested by the Houston Police. A mugshot of the attorney confirmed his arrest. He was released after posting $500 bail.
Is Tony Buzbee facing a lawsuit?
Tony Buzbee is representing about 120 people against Diddy. He claims that these people are victims of s*xual assault by the rapper. Conversely, Buzbee has also been hit with a lawsuit alleging he infected an unnamed woman with an STI.
According to TMZ, the lawsuit claims that Buzbee invited Jane Doe to Houston for a dinner and show. Following their romantic evening, they allegedly went to a luxury hotel and engaged in s*xual intercourse.
However, Doe claims that she experienced discomfort in her genitalia and went to see a doctor. She claims she was informed that she had an infection which was s*xually transmitted to her by Buzbee.
The controversial lawsuit further claims that Jane Doe reached out to Tony Buzbee with the issue and the latter apologized. Moreover, he allegedly seemed to be unsurprised and asked Doe not to reveal her diagnosis to anyone. In return, Buzbee reportedly offered her free legal advice.
In the lawsuit, Jane Doe also claimed that the attorney manipulated her and performed an act of violence against her by pushing a champagne glass in her face. She says she has medical records to prove the allegations against the attorney.
Buzbee has now accused Jay-Z's entertainment company, Roc Nation, of discrediting him.
In a statement to The Mirror, Tony Buzbee said,
"This latest case, like the others, is frivolous, laughable, and ridiculous and will be dismissed along like the others. It now seems that every other day there is another false claim filed, all of which are being ginned up by individuals working on behalf of or in concert with Roc Nation."
More details about the lawsuit are awaited. It has not been confirmed yet how the court is pursuing the case. Moreover, Jay-Z has also accused Buzbee of blackmailing his legal team.
