Drake’s presence on the streaming platform Kick has recently prompted speculation after his account appeared to have been taken down after the much-hyped Drizzmas Giveaway stream.

The co-founder of Kick and Stake, Bijan Tehrani, quickly responded back to the individuals behind these rumors by dismissing them. Tehrani replied to the post’s accusations with a blue hat emoji. Which is often known to imply the word "cap", which is used to signify falsehood or lies.

On December 26, 2024, the Toronto-based rapper celebrated an event together with fellow streamer, Adin Ross, in which both were seen gambling on Stake and gave away luxurious gifts including cars and money.

Soon after Drake’s account was banned, a fan page suggested that the account was deleted due to some conflict between the artist and the company Stake, which is known for its online casino games.

When asked for further clarification about the rapper’s apparent criticism of the platform during the stream, Tehrani elaborated, stating that the comments were likely aimed at the ease of gambling, not the platform itself.

According to Rap-Up, despite the controversy surrounding it, the Drizzmas Giveaway stream had many content creators combining together. Gambling aficionado Drake appeared to enjoy the night, which featured the presence of multiple guest stars.

Other entertainers such as Kai Cenat and BenDaDonnn made cameos during the stream, while OVO’s Smiley teased new music. Aside from celebrating the season, Drake took to the platform to touch on his upcoming album with PartyNextDoor.

Drake’s Longstanding Partnership with Stake

According to an article by USA Today, Drake partnered up with the crypto betting site Stake in the year 2022, at the time when he described the partnership as “inevitable” on Instagram.

The Canadian musician had teased the collaboration for months, posting glimpses of his online gambling habits, including $1 million bets on events such as the Super Bowl.

Stake’s co-founder, Ed Craven stated that the rapper was an active member of Stake’s global community, so the partnership made sense. According to USA Today, Craven added that both of them had a shared passion for cryptocurrency, gambling, and creating a sense of community.

"Drake has been an active member of our global community for a few months now, so the next step and natural evolution in the relationship was for us to collaborate on a stream,” Craven stated.

Stake Casino gained serious and immediate benefits from its collaboration with the rapper, with a steady growth of user engagement and traffic to the website, Grand Rrix247. The other positive outcome of this partnership was the increased prominence of the Bitcoin casino.
